Chocolate shavings.
Big pieces of cherries.
Smooooooth rich creamy delicious vanilla ice cream.

The best is the ice cream found in Cornwall England. Maybe my memory has inflated the taste to a level never again to be achieved, but damn that was good ice-cream when I was there 14 years ago!

I have to weigh in and say that Ben and Jerrys is some of the damn ice cream around. The Phish food variety
is my current favorite.
It's curious that even though I hate the band, the ice cream rocks...

The best ice cream on Earth is served at the Creamery at Penn State. You can actually get your degree in dairy science at my alma mater (been a better career move for me) and they teach those kids right. They served Creamery milk, cheese and ice cream in the dining halls, and it kicked ass. I think they won some national competition for vanilla ice cream, which is, of course, the most rigorous of all ice cream competitions.

My favorite was Choco-Choco Nut. Rich chocolate ice cream with nuts that are ROLLED IN CHOCOLATE. Delicious. Haven't had any in about four years. A trip to Happy Valley is definitely on the summer itinerary.
