The benefits of taking a break

I just wanted to say that I have really enjoyed taking a break from lit. I have regained a sense of perspective that I lost in my daily posting.

The greatest benefit of taking a break is that I can now read posts that would have pissed me off a month ago and simply laugh.


Of course, I did miss a lot chatting with a lot of people, but the funny thing is that Lit is truly like a soap opera. The details may change a little but the themes stay the same.


So go ahead and take a break, get out, enjoy life, Lit will still be here when you get back, and you'll enjoy it more.

Oh please don't tease me. i have always wanted to go to the Caribbean. ihave seen pictures of the water so blue and clear that you can see the ocean floor. And quite frankly the thought of that water AND you is pure heaven. When do we leave? I haven't seen a beach in 5 years.

Well, the gf and I are going to St. Lucia in two months. I just wnated to get away and sit on a beach by myself for a week and relax.

You can only come if you can stay naked and wet the whole time, you choose the kind of wetness

I love the Caribbean, the water is amazing and when I was in Turks and Caicos, I have never felt softer sand in my whole life. It was like talcum powder and it never got hot, not even in the middle of the day!

Time away does me alot of good too, only I still haven't gotten to the point that I can laugh at much of what I read. I'll probably never get there.
Trail keeps asking me where I'd like to go, for a cruise and otherwise...any place. I take it the Carribean is your recommendation? I want some place with zilch humidity.

Intrigued - I was in Ocho Rios in Jamaica. I hear the beaches in Negril (the west coast) are much nicer. The sand and water in Turks and Caicos was the best I have ever seen. It is a nice Island and the people were very friendly.

HogJack - You can talk about my momma but don't ever fuck with my feather boa, I just love it too much to bear it. How have you been? You are always a pleasure to read!
