Oblivious...
Yes I think that is what I am. Oblivious to the positivity around me. I've had a life of trauma, pain, rejection and ridicule, so honestly I think my obliviousness is a shield, a cloak, so I won't experience again what has scarred me in the past.

It seems I am popular, well liked, respected, and even dare I say desired. Such things I am not used to and had no hopes of seeing on a regular basis in my life, real or otherwise. Some yes, but not a lot. So I never see when such positivity abounds around me.

I know there are those who cherish my presence, value me and harbour warm feelings for this dear old Beast, and I thank all of you for your patience in dealing with this skeptical, somewhat reclusive Beast.


You all know who you are. And I thank you.

Several of you have been wondering, but yes the Beast is OK.

I had an incident earlier today whilst driving. A distracted/unobservant driver nearly Tboned me today. Who after I chewed out for being an idiot, as he clearly was thinking he had done no wrong when I had to swerve into the next lane which was luckily empty called the police on me. Said police asked him for his story, then asked of mine and a nice gentleman who saw what happened. Who then chewed out the idiot for careless driving, wasting police time, and harassing people.

I'm STILL pissed off...
