Oh my, it all looks delicious!

I came at the right time, it seems. I won't have to fix anything but a plate for dinner! I hope there's enough taters for everyone *puts a heaping pile on my plate and adds turkey and gravy on top*

Cheese curds are like proto cheese before it's finished and pressed together into bars etc. It's what's left after the whey is separated. If fresh, they "squeak" when you bite into them.

So I hear. But. I'm trying to imagine this, still. I should have tried them on all my journies through Wisconsin when I saw them at cheese shops.

Funny. The Amish in Michigan didn't sell them at their cheese places. Maybe they kept all that goodness for themselves. :rolleyes:
