That's the problem with being too lazy to research. You make absurd claims that are simplicity in itself to prove false, and make a fool out of yourself

Sex and the closing left on one story, with another moving along slowly, due to research and lack of quiet time. Hoping to finish that one, but I ain't holdin' my breath at this point.

My story won't be finished in time for the first day. I pulled my back yesterday and it threw everything out of alignment. I've spent most of today resting it while revising last year's Summer Lovin' story, Summer Spirit. I want to re-submit that one before I post the new one. I noticed too many similarities that needed to be fixed between the two stories. My original plan was to work off of the first story. But it didn't pan out.

I'm still on Freddie's side. He IS a good writer and noone here has the same drive and imagination as he does. He can write about bunnies and butterflies and naked butts, too. Some just write the same stuff and change the names or the places. He's lived life. He knows the things that he writes about; the places and the people. He's an observer of what's going on in the world and in his neighborhood. Don't knock him. He sees things in people that noone else sees, and he tells the truth in spite of his Bostonfictionwriter handle.

As Dark has pointed out, this has been going on for four years. You guys need to move on. It's been the same group of you picking back and forth. And, for the life of me, I can't understand Scouries and his attacks. There are no rules about how many stories can be submitted into a contest. You've all started to do multiple stories. For God's sake, you guys love to write! Do it, and stop attacking each other. There's room enough for everyone.

The gambler in me, tells me that Freddie is right about the odds, too. Nobody writes more than he does. The odds say that he should have won something by now if it wasn't for the f'n trolls that hangout in the AH and try to decide good from evil. Nobody knows Freddie any better than me, and he is dedicated to his writing and loves the Literotica limelight. Everyone waits for feedback from their fans.

Please stop the hate and the bickering.

And the number of stories someone writes has nothing to do with quality of the stories (not that I'm saying there's anything wrong with the quality of Freddie's stories--just that it's a false comparison).

Freddie's stories get hit for the same reason mine do--he rubs some people the wrong way on the forum and they take it out on him in the story file. There's no mystery there.

Boo. No summer lovin' story for me. It ended up going too well, and before I knew it, I was only one-quarter of the way through my outline with 10,000 words written.

And, you are wrong about the attacks. It's been defensive since day one. Not everyone sees the humor, and that's the part that has been manipulated and blown out of proportion. Not everyone can take a joke, and not everyone should believe a everything that is written here. My grandfather said, "If paper stands still, you can write anything on it." Wise man, grandpa!

Whining, as you call it, has nothing to do with his writing ability or style. He's a freaking accountant, for God's sake. He likes numbers and statistics. He states the facts as they appear in black and white, but there is a human being actually picking the winners and then, there are sweeps where numbers disappear. Let's not forget the computer geeks who play games, too. There's always someone, somewhere trying to manipulate a system to see what they can get away with. My gut feeling is that Lit isn't as big as their home page boasts about.

Nobody has responded to him on the same level of ugly personal attack that he has resorted to--for years. That you won't acknowledge that just puts you on the "drop dead" list as far as I'm concerned.

I gave up being concerned that folks retaliated against him through his story file years ago--and if you check, I stood up for him in that vein for a while. And all I got back was personal attack ugliness that would have gotten him bounced off a moderated forum. Like Scouries, he always bites whatever hand is feeding him.

So, just stick it where the sun don't shine--at least until you develop some sense of objectivity and fairness.

He has earned everything he is whining about.

But you do still have time. Everyone keeps saying there is no word limit. My story is up to 19,000 words and I keep fearing it's too long and already have an offshoot in mind for it, down the line. Unless you don't think you'll finish it by the last day of submitting. Any luck on creature?

Wouldn't be done, and would be 40-50K.
I realize there are longer stories on the site... but I have no interest in having a single story be that long.

Actually, you can't dig back through the forum postings to see the worst of Freddie's behavior. The threads where you might have seen that are amongst the fraction of a fraction of a percent of threads ever posted on the Literotica forum that have been deleted.

Take a look at the white supremacist posts that appear daily on the GB. None of them are getting deleted. His did.

That's the level of unconscionable nastiness he's demonstrated that he's willing to bring to the table.
