Hey, asshole, you can "disqualify" my story right now. I never entered your contest.

Not another know-it-all Texan? Or is this just another pitiful ALT?

FYI mr texan: Every story put up on LITEROTICA during the Halloween contest submission period is automatically entered in the A.I.R. Halloween Contest.

Entries that don’t meet the minimum requirements (category, erotic content, etc., etc.) are then removed from consideration.

Stories that break the rules of the contest are then thrown out. Cheaters are not tolerated by A.I.R..

What is left then goes to the voters of A.I.R. – those millions of wonderful worldwide readers who make up the membership.

Ignore him. He misuses names to cover his ass and to needle people. He is an asshole and a jerk any way you slice him.

His contest is a joke to everyone but him, so ignore that also. He doesn't take names off anything, even when you ask him nicely. One author had to pull all his stories just to get off one of his lists. Now the author doesn't allow voting or comments just because of it.

Hey bebeslut. First, great quote. Nice one! If you mention that your story is part of your ongoing series that will disqualify you in his eyes.

As TxRad said, you can try nice or you can try anger (I've done both)- it won't make a difference so just ignore him. His ego needs an audience; if everyone ignores him he is denied that.

Please, if you do feel the need to address his posts don't copy him as I really don't want to see that shit, but I very much want to hear what you have to say. Thanks.

"The Witch Who Sucked Me" is up! I'm in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good luck to all!

I'm glad to hear or read that, because A.I.R. is not toleratred by us cheaters. :D

Can't We All Just Get Along?

Wow... I see authors whose work i've enjoyed... & they're bickering like my kids.

Even so, this is a great new area to explore... Confess, I doubt my submission will even reach the 25 to contend level, BUT it was fun trying to put something different from the usual together, and has directed my reading in a different direction from the usual.

i don't know about the rest of you, but what i've been writing wasn't for money, fame, or recognition. I've read stories for 25 years now... I've been writing them almost as long, but it took two of those decades to realize the 'net has provided a place to share that... if you read it and like it great. if you hate it, s'fine, too, just don't expect me to change to suit your idea of what is good or right.

guess i think that'd flow over to the board... considering I've read BFW's works and liked them AND TxRad's and enjoyed them, too, seeing the bitterness aimed at one another is... sad.

EK, great icon, Boxlicker, likewise. DG, always enjoy reading, even when you don't end a story 'the way I'd like'... there's invariably something worth reading.

Anyways, glad the Halloween contest led me to the board, here.
Keep 'em coming, gang, I'm trying to keep up with the reading. Someday i'll learn to keep my stories short and to the point. but honestly the writing can be fun enough who wants to stop?!

Pax, and best of luck all,

RA

Bebe,

The new story format. Click on a story to read it and you will see the changes.

~Luna

I think I like the old but i'm a creature of habit. They've changed a lot, but over all it's still the best place on the internet!

Wrote a little story...

I thought I'd be sitting this one out, still busy trying to finish some of my older series. But I had an idea pop-up on the drive home today. Easiest story I've written in a while, real short, just one page - 2500 words. Wrote it, edited it, and submitted it tonight so I wouldn't sweat over the rewrites and multiple edits I usually subject myself to. I think it's the shortest one I've written, so it'll be interesting to see how it does.

It's a bit of a cliché, about taking advantage of a costumed identity mistake, but I wasn't sure about the category. I probably killed it submitting it as non-consent, since our female lead doesn't know she's with a stranger. Any ideas on where else (category) I might have submitted it?

Going to start reading the entries now - good luck to all!

New format

What do you all think about the new format?

As is always they case, I like some of it, not sure about others.

Overall the stories look "cleaner" (though not in any content sense, I hope :)).

Like the additional information along the bottom.

Don't like the change to comments. The title is far too large and the actual comment text far too small. Needs a little work there, I think.

New format

Wow - missed this!

If you click on an author's link - like the one at the bottom of this message - you can see all their scores as well. Should make the job easier for those here who like to keep us up to date on scores.

However, for a competition I think it might set people up as a target.

I've already noticed over the last 24 hours I've gone from 4.86 down to 4.72!

Bummer, man, as I used to say a long time ago...:rose:

You are already almost there with your link to your stories.

The only difference needed is that after the end of the url before the (square bracket)/url(square bracket) put an ending square bracket, followed by the title another square bracket, then the /url and a final square bracket.

It should look like this Bebeslut's Stories

Replace all the round brackets in the following by square brackets:

(url=http://www.literotica.com/stories/memberpage.php?uid=1181886&page=submissions)Bebeslut's Stories(/url)

This is it for your latest story:
Vampires really do suck

i don't like the new lay out, there are other things they could have updated first that would make browsing through an authors stories easier.
atm i find myself unable to go to the next chapter in a story chain, always have to go back to the submission page and choose next chapter there.
don't like the new comment title/box size, as someone mentioned before, sizes are off kilter.
also don't like our scores being open for all to see now. i don't mind seeing my own scores on my own stories(that part i do like) and on the stories i favorited. but i don't need to see that score on all stories, i'd like to read myself instead of letting me be guided by the visual scores.
right now it makes me think some titles are too long(my own included) and it only makes the story list seem incredibly long and unending.
with that being vented on to the contest again.
are we all doing as expected? better or worse?
i've met the goals i had set out for myself so even this early on the contest is going fine for me.

for the linking use(delete the empty spaces before and after url) :

[ url=http://www.literotica.com/stories/showstory.php?id=498259]Halloween.

that will give you this link :

Halloween.

if you want to resize/color the link use those code inside the tags like : (again remember, no empty spaces)

[ url=http://www.literotica.com/stories/showstory.php?id=498259][ color=orange]Halloween.

that will look like :

Halloween.

...

It also shows scores when the votes are less than 10.

I agree that it makes trolls' work easier. They now know WHICH of an author's stories to target (not mine in the 3.xx range but those over 4.5).

And it reveals Jeanne's stinker: Merlin & Nimue (2.14)

holy shit! so it does.

Oh shit

Since I last posted, I've got one extra vote (144 to 145) and dropped by .1, so it looks like it was a stinker:eek:

This new info is going to make for a very interesting competition...
