I'm new here. Please don't bite - unless you really really want to and think I might actually like it.

Well, I have gone and done it. I have posted an entry in the Halloween contest. I have posted two, in fact, but somehow one submission has been spooked. Somehow, the text of the story has been swapped with one of my other stories.

Now I am getting flak because my story is nothing like its title, it is in the wrong section, and my description bears no resemblance to the content.

I think I'll have a big sulk.

Hi, I'm another nOOb crawling out of the woodwork having gotten my shit together in the last couple of weeks to actually write some stories, instead of just reading and thinking 'I could totally do that', and whilst I was at it I thought 'why not enter a contest'....

I await the trolling and tearing apart of my work which ought to commence somewhere about..... now.

Anyway, my first submission is up, and I submitted my halloween entry about half an hour ago, so I shall retreat back into my hidey-hole.

If you would be so kind as to read my first story - unless I have properly messed it up there ought to be a link in my sig (there ought to be a sig!) - and vote - I would be truly grateful!

The publisher of this magazine contacted me to use my story from last year's Halloween Contest in their October issue. I'm so freakin excited, I'm beside myself. Who knew that Lit was this popular?

If you are into BDSM, you might like the magazine. Still not sure why they picked my story, except that it had a ghost in it.

Good luck to all of you in this year's contest. Maybe one or two of you will be able to experience this same thrill one day. Wow!

I find this rather strange. I submitted my second entry over 48 hours ago, and it is still pending. If it hasn't been postred tomorrow morning, I might resubmit it. I don't like doing that because, if this is normal, it will mean I have another three days to wait.

Hey,

I'm wondering if anyone else has had this happen to them. There are comments that I posted that went through, but are now gone. Do the trolls or sweeps have a way of removing comments, or just votes?

I'm bummed about this. I've been trying to post a comment for each story I read. Now, I have to go back and see which ones were swiped away and try to remember what I had posted.

I have always understood that only the author or someone who knows the author's password can remove a comment. I know trolls can't, and the Hoover would not be able to.

Okay, does anyone else have a problem with posting comments on stories?

When I try to log in as Literotica user I lose the verification box as well as submit and the preview greys out. I cannot go forward. I end up having to post as anonymous.

I see other users id'ed by their comments, so is this unique to me?

Luna, I saw in your comment that you had left a comment on one of my other stories- I never saw it, nor did I delete it.
So I don't know what happened to it. But I just wanted to make sure you knew that I did not delete it.

Yeah it sounds like some more of the problems Manu was having with the new roll out. You both need 56to shoot him a PM outlining the problem. Especially which operating system and or browser you are using. Getting all the little wrinkles out is always the hardest part. Fix one and it screws up another.
