I prefer routine spontaneity.

What was your favorite Valentine?

One my daughter made me once when she was about 4.

I got a specially made cedar chest and someone was hiding inside it.

What is the one sound that makes you cringe?

just one???? OK, nails on a chalkboard. Although the sound of impacting autos is pretty high up there too. OH, yeah, and whiney children...

What is your favorite candy?

Hey Sailor!

Reese's, or any dark chocolate. And chocolate covered raisins are up there too.

Chocolate? Any chocolate except most milks.

Would you try cheese made from breast milk?

Um...sure...what the hell.

Yup. Usually Godiva.

What is your favorite dinner?

Are you taking me to surf or turf?

Surf would be King crab, asparagus, and some chowder to dip my sourdough. Turf- rib eye, med rare. French fries for the steak juice and caeser salad. Wine too.

Have you ever done one of those 9 course meals?

I'm taking the Mrs. out to her favorite place for a 5 course dinner tonight. I have simple tastes. My favorite can only be had in late summer. A grilled juicy burger, fresh corn on the cob and fresh homegrown tomatoes.

Do you enjoy making/being treated to an elaborate dinner for two at home?

Yes, it's been a long long time for two though. Unless it's me and a kid.

nice suit

Q above!

Not nine course. But I've done a number of meals with true "multiple courses"

As long as you don't "fill up" on one (e.g. you know they are coming) it's quite nice. Lot's of different flavors and such.

Do you carefully pair your wine with your dinner or do you just have favorites?

I don't have a clue about wine, I just grab whatever and cross my fingers.

Are you a wine snob?

No, not really, but I've learned enough to know what I like - at least to some degree. While expensive wine is often very good (not always!), I tend to look for "good deals" less expensive but good. Chilean wine, a lot of stuff from California, some stuff from Australia. That kind of thing.

Is your choice of drink wine or something else?

I have discovered some Argentinean wine on my travels that is yummy. If it isn't wine, it will be foofy! Or pomegranate tequila!

Much more of a beer snob - I used to brew my own before microbrews became readily available.

Are you a seafood snob?

Maybe a little?

Do you pair cheese with fruit or any other side?

okay, friends, bye!

I frequently pair cheese with apples, grapes and sometimes pears.
I especially like cheese with good bread though.

Do you make it a point to have sex with your SO on valentines day, or do you just let whatever happens happen?

If you could repeat last night, would you?

Only if I could change things to make it worth repeating.

Is there any purely platonic friend that you interact with on a regular basis with whom you'd readily agree to have sex if the opportunity arose?

Sure.....and I am sure it would be amazing.

Would it remain platonic afterwards?

Takes an awful lot of work to put it back together in my experience

What sport don't you understand?

;) Crick; it looks to clean and gentleman like. I like baseball in that it is played all out, and if at the end of the game you are not dirty, dusty and soaked in sweat you didn't play well.

Do you enjoy a good run?

No.

Do you think its time to think of new things? Cause I am out of ideas.
