The Art of Getting Lit Laid

Have to love this version of Harley. It did remind me of a poem that I wrote a while ago, whilst not Harley it is DC based and as much as I love Harley - Catwoman has my heart...

The Catwoman Equation:

A Love Letter in Nine Lives

Selina, always Selina
but never the same twice.
So here I sit,
pen poised like a whip in the dark,
listing the reasons I should,
and should not,
fall into bed with
nine of her incarnations.

The Golden Age Vixen

Pros:
Silks and mystery.
Eyes like noir daggers.
She'd call me "darling" in smoky tones
and steal my heart
and probably my watch.

Cons:
She's likely to vanish in a puff of perfume
just before things get interesting.

Julie Newmar's Purr

Pros:
That voice.
That suit.
That stretch.
She moves like melted chocolate
and laughs like she's tasted every sin.

Cons:
I might not survive her teasing.
Too much tease,
not enough mercy.

Eartha Kitt's Growl

Pros:
Power.
Presence.
Prowess.
She'd devour me with a grin,
call it foreplay,
and teach me how to purr.

Cons:
I'd never be in control.
(That may also be a pro.)

Michelle Pfeiffer's Madness

Pros:
Latex.
Red lips.
A scream wrapped in a whisper.
She'd love like a storm
wet, wild, and thunder-laced.

Cons:
There'd be scratches
inside and out.
And I'd let her.

Halle Berry's Experiment

Pros:
Unapologetic confidence.
A body made of sunlight and silk.

Cons:
A little too much CGI in her soul.
I need claws, not special effects.

Anne Hathaway's Thief in Heels

Pros:
Slick.
Smart.
Seduction as subtle as sabotage.
She'd take what she wants
then offer dessert.

Cons:
She plays the long game.
I might lose myself
before I realize I was the mark.

Zoë Kravitz's Soft Snarl

Pros:
Stillness.
Sadness.
Sex like poetry
whispered through a locked window.

Cons:
Her past might lie between us.
But I'd kiss around it carefully.

The Animated One (Bruce Timm's Dream)

Pros:
All curves and cunning.
A voice like honey over whiskey.
Dangerously smooth.

Cons:
She only exists in 24 frames per second.
Still—I'd linger in the pause between each.

The Comic Canon Queen

Pros:
Infinite versions, infinite thrills.
A kiss in Gotham rain,
a chase across rooftops.
A love letter in whips and broken rules.

Cons:
She's fictional.
But so is my resistance.

So here I sit,
list growing long,
scratched in ink like claw-marks.
Every Selina a temptation.
Every Selina a risk.

But in the end,
I'd still let her in
through the window,
every time.

No Pause in Mischief

Life pulls us in every direction - work deadlines, family chaos, real-world commitments that demand every ounce of us. Sometimes we vanish for a while, thinking the thread has moved on without us.

But the magic of this place?
Here in Lit, there’s no such thing as “too late.” We can disappear for a week, a month, or even just a busy day… and when we come back, the mischief is still waiting, arms wide, drink in hand, comfy chair ready.

There’s no need to explain, no need to catch up word-for-word. You just drop in, flash a grin, and dive straight back into the chaos - as if the pause never happened.

Because that’s what we do here: we play, we tease, we tempt…and we always leave the door open for each other to join in again.

So, my fellow mischief-makers, consider this your reminder:
However long it’s been - pull up a chair. The game hasn’t stopped. And neither have we.

I am usually horny at least once per day.

Makes the day more enjoyable so why not?

Awesome! You are in good company, then. All of us are a few (or a lot) of degrees off 😉
I've come to the conclusion that, notwithstanding all the great advice and wisdom on this thread, there's an element of chance to our encounters here, like the chemistry that underlies our interactions IRL. That's not a bad thing, to me--it's something that gives rise to a lot of pleasure when it happens. It should happen for everyone.

Chance encounters on lit are often the best ones because neither expected it and it can lead to a lot of excitement and discovery
