The two Johns came up in a discussion I had on Saturday in the pub. And Rory Bremner - perhaps he could imitate Angus.

Jack Dee was mentioned too, though I think he's a little bit to acidic compared to Angus.

i think that all the fuss about deyton was a little ott. surely the teams could have been briefed not to wind the whole thing up. why sack someone from an adult show for adult behaviour (well kinda adult behaviour)? mind you am being to beleive that the sacking of john lesslie was ok. still, innocent until PROVEN guilty in a court of law, right?
(and how come he got away with allegedly assulting so many without them reporting him?)

I agree it's not news but Leslie didn't get sacked because of the newspapers. He was sacked because his name was leaked on Channel 5 by a newwreader and by his own publicist. Until that happened he was relatively safe. The coke snorting came revelation came after the sack.

Deayton was sacked, I believe, not because of the papers but because of Hislop and Merton. They were fed up with him.
