The Anger Of The Left

So you are out of a job, broke, and hungry. And here. Like that's going to solve your problems. I guess it MUST follow that as soon as we elect a Democrat, you'll be swimming...

Your reaction to threads like this:

I'm not having anymore conversations with people like you and Ollie. You're on the Dixon List; not good enough for the effort of ignore.

LOL, um, exactly which post that he never posted in that thread upset you?

Or is it the fact that he didn't react by agreeing with you and calling you bro that bothered you so much?

Hell hath no fury like a neo-con scorned. :D

Good thing I refied 125% of my house before I lost my job.

Thanks DieTech!

"Threads LIKE this"

Your stupidity in the name of a cause over-fucking-whelms me.

So you got upset because you imagined what you thought his response would be and he is stupid?

Pure comedy gold. :D

I'll bet you didn't score as high on standardized tests as I did.

Do you even know what metaphore is? It's not the flag thingy. My comments to BYRON were based on past posts but it looked like a good time for ad Hominem for you which is why I don't try to have conversations with you any more it's like talking to busybody or lovelynice.

Sowell makes a good point. I saw it during the election here last year. The lefts only argument for people to vote for them was to tell them how bad things would be if the right got in power. The right-wingers actually had real suggestions.

Then that the right wingers in sweden equals to the standard american democrat is another story... :D

There's a lesson there I think.

He probably doesn't know what a "metaphore" is, since you're using a made-up word which appears to be a combination of "metaphor" and "semaphore."

If nothing else that a swedish social democrat is a american communist? :D :p

No, more like the left is incapable of comprimise. Every accomodation only emboldens them to move further to the left and become even more vitriolic in their personal attacks on their adversaries. Swedish leftists are no different in principle than American leftists, just further down the road towards their goals.

Real good point. I was about to take an exempåles from the middle east, but I think I´ll pass that, as I know that atleast in swedish boards, people are going from trashtalking eachother to spike-bombing eachother, sort of...

Vitriolic means...? (I get the general meaning, but more specificly)

(Even Byron started getting prickly as the Dems amped up the volumn after using hate to win the Congressional elections.)

The never ending appeal to emotion and ceaseless ad Hominem; the assertion that because you spent a lot of time thinking about an issue that you are using reason and anyone who disputes that reason is an idiot. Hell, I have to think about everything twice as long as anyone else, and I'm considered an idiot here!

And now I hear Nancy Pelosi has talk radio in her gunsights.

The "Fairness" Doctrine.

Like I told Laurel in 2000, it's not the Right that hates free speech, it's the Left.

Now, now, Dances With Falsehoods, don't get all pissy. Your side was dealt a bad hand in the last election cycle (having to support child molesters like Mark Foley) that no amount of voter intimidation and suppression could overcome.

I understand your bitterness, the "permanent Republican majority" that you crowed loud and often about lasted a mere 12 years. God willing, we will not see it's like again in our lifetime.

So you just go ahead and do what you do best, demonize, trivialize and attempt to marginalize the opposition. Your posting history makes you the clear front runner for the title of Lit's ultimate "Swift Boater".

Now accuse me of ad hominem attacks.... :nana:

I misspelled it.

Adj. 1. vitriolic - harsh or corrosive in tone; "an acerbic tone piercing otherwise flowery prose"; "a barrage of acid comments"; "her acrid remarks make her many enemies"; "bitter words"; "blistering criticism"; "caustic jokes about political assassination, talk-show hosts and medical ethics"; "a sulfurous denunciation"

Poisonous in other words.

Umm, was that a "metaphore" you just used? I seem to be bad at recognizing them. ;)
