Thanks! I will try to make those. My sugar runs higher post surgery & in PT when my pain levels are so high.
I've been trying Black seed oil caps twice a day since right before surgery.
The PCP says we can do blood work in about 6 weeks. So I will know if there is any difference.
But I am still dealing with the pain issues just less high the past couple months.

My BS was 84 before dinner yesterday! I ordered a veggie pizza and chocolate lava cakes. I ate 1 cake and about half of the pizza........this morning my BS was 120 without any meds for 12 hours.

I don't push the envelope often, but sometimes it's nice to pretend you're like everyone else.

I just watch out for the pain levels. I was doing pretty good until these storms shifted in from the east coast the past few weeks. Most have made me an achy mess. Extra meds and lots of sleeping to just avoid the pain.

Been using the nutrition mixes in shakes to help with most everything.

I never liked smoothies and after chemo, I can't stomach malts or nutrition shakes. At first, with the smoothies, I told people that God gave us teeth so that we could chew our food!

The new place has AC so I don't live in 100 plus degrees in the house do I've been able to handle eating more solid foods then just protein shakes. But I need to up my vitamins so I need to get back to a couple shakes a week.
