Arabica coffee; from PERU ?
And I thought it came from the Middle East (originally through Yemen?)

But never mind; I'll have a nice mu of Tea, please

I'll pass on all the offerings from the kitchen and stick with my favorite DP.

hmm, just realising I haven't made my traditional winter soup this year. Only ten days left, I'd better get on it.

Now now, you shouldn’t have such preconceived ideas Pixie. TxRad has done some excellent service here.

For instance, it’s generally thought that Pom’s have terrible food and have no idea about coffee, yet here you are whipping up a very nice Turkish brew. I could do with one before I face the auditors today.

Unfortunately it looks like the baklava’s gone missing :(

It's quite right, Poms on the whole do terrible food - I put my love of coffee down to my Jewish ancestors who lived in Alexandria

Always happy to help out ...

We're supposed to have a very hot (for the UK) Bank holiday weekend.

Well, summer has officially ended here and we’re into Fall, my favourite season.

And I’m going to have a celebratory coffee - “One Night in Xanadu” is now ranked #104 out of 1.4 million romance stories on Wattpad, which seems really good to me. Can’t say it’s translated into a gazillion views, but the ranking is great.

And now, coffee......

Thanks, it’s delicious.

You just have good taste. My in-laws are Jewish (MIL converted to Judaism) and they still drink awful coffee. Food is fantastic though.

It's the Alexandian connection I think, my grandmother showed me how to make it properly :)

I find it fuels me while writing - and revives me when needed

We're supposed to have a very hot (for the UK) Bank holiday weekend.

It got down to about 7 or 8 celsius (about 45 F) in Sydney on our coldest mornings this year but it's been unusually windy with a fair bit of snow above 1200 metres in the southern mountains.

There’s the difference - my FIL’s family came from Hungary.

Coffee for working , tea for winding down, alcohol for relaxing.

Congratulations!

(Races off to find out what the hell Wattpad is...)

Wattpad? About 90% of the readers are female between 13 and 25. According to my reader stats anyway. 25% from USA, 25% from the Philippines, the rest scattered around the world altho there’s a big Chinese readership and lots of k- pop fanfic. Unless you write for 13-25 year old female audience, it’s not that great. I do okay there, and it’s a very different audience to Literotica.

Uh, yeah, I'm definitely out at Wattpad. I would scare and scar most of the ones on the lower end of the age scale.

Fresh coffee for the mid morning crowd.

I spent the last half hour on the phone with a lawyer. Now I need a hot shower.

Maybe the rest of the day will go better.

Sounds like the setup of a bad joke.

It’s telling that some of the very worst lawyer jokes I’ve ever encountered were heard from lawyers.

It’s a surprising audience. Nockatunga Station has done really well there. Now that really surprised me. I’m going to try Halloween in the Cemetery there next.

ATTORNEY: Doctor, before you performed the autopsy, did you check for a pulse?
WITNESS: No.
ATTORNEY: Did you check for blood pressure?
WITNESS: No.
ATTORNEY: Did you check for breathing?
WITNESS: No.
ATTORNEY: So, then it is possible that the patient was alive when you began the autopsy?
WITNESS: No.
ATTORNEY: How can you be so sure, Doctor?
WITNESS: Because his brain was sitting on my desk in a jar.
ATTORNEY: I see, but could the patient have still been alive, nevertheless?
WITNESS: Yes, it is possible that he could have been alive and practicing law.

Handley_Page; Sh h h h. Don't say it; you'll ruin it . . . . :):)[/QUOTE said:
The two words 'Bank Holiday' are usually enough to bring bad weather...
