We have a new addition to the family. Weighing in at just 3.3 pounds, our new bundle of joy has filled our home with smiles and warmth.

Our first born is absolutely thrilled. She's no longer an only child.

As you can see, she's a bit hard to catch in the frame, so...

I had to catch her after she fell into an exhausted slumber. It happens when a little girl and her best friend get half a day off from school.

Fuzzball, of course, has taken it all in his stride.

Here he is giving his new friend "the eye".

Awwww...what a cute little puppy. It looks like a dog in a lamb costume. :D

What's her name?

Huh! You think a Bichon Frise is trouble, try a beagle or a terrorier. Sheesh!

A Bichon what? Ain't that some of that there French food they serve in them restaurants with the snotty waiters and the teeny-weeny portions? :D

Did the beagle thing. Shipped her back to the farm. She was a sweet dog, but city life just wasn't for her.

Don't even think about it, buster.

Yup, IMO, beagles is the best but you're right about the city thing. If there aren't any rabbits around, beagles just pine. The one we had finally took to pretending to be a Treein' Walker. Every time a possum would get up in the fig tree, he'd put those paws on the trunk, throw his head back and bawl treed like a pro. Ah luved that dawg!

The problem was the rabbits. They were everywhere. If the dog saw one through the window, no door could hold her. Bringing home dead bunny carcasses was not something I enjoyed seeing--especially on my carpet.

Soooo cute, Molly!

We just smuggled her into the grocery store. (in a carrier, of course.) A customer told the manager that they heard a dog barking (she's very vocal) and the manager found us. (silly dog gave away our position). So...I opened the carrier and let him see her cute little button eyes. He was lost and we were allowed to finish shopping. Who could say no to a face like that?

Hm. I thought I had said...
What a cute dog. I adore her looks. I think she's going to be a good dog for you all! I am sure that Princess is in her glory with Lucy.

I certainly have gotten my money's worth out of her already. The princess is the happiest I've ever seen her.

Now you need to take both of them to puppy training classes. They will stand the Princess in good stead when it comes to rearing your grandchildren. :D

Well, the potty training is going very well and she has "sit" and "come" down pat. I'm thinking that training classes may not be necessary. She's as smart and as pleasing as they come.

The potty training is going well, but the little beast keeps trying to eat my purse.
