I am hoping for the same and my bosses are behind me for the most part.. i pushed back when the wanted me to do education on a product i dont even use.... I said the professional words but there are 3 of us doing over 40 indy practices plus 400 ish hospital employed pcp plis additional work and 1 of the 3 of us went to India for a fam emergency for a month and the other coworker has to be assigned work and needs help to complete.... oh and posting for a new hire with no orientation plan (7 am working on it) they want us to get a risk adjustment certification etc etc etc... it is starting to work my nerveThey will push and push, thinking they can just bully everyone to do what they want. Many don't realize healthcare is different now. Oh, the howling I had to put up with when trying to get them to comply with quality measures. When compensation became tied to performance measures, it got a bit better.

Sounds like you need to have a sit-down with your boss, your list of projects and responsibilities, and your job description. Work out how much time you're spending on each item. Then ask your boss what the priorities are. I found when I did this and said, "So, what do you want me to STOP working on?" it helped clarify my workload. You're only one person and there us only a finite amount of time.I am hoping for the same and my bosses are behind me for the most part.. i pushed back when the wanted me to do education on a product i dont even use.... Yep... done... this week.. along with a 2024 plan. Unfortunately not everyone has received the message, but they will. If I get too overwhelmed I ask for what the priorities are... and I am learning how to say no (very well). My wife would be wondering how I know all these people that I'd be inviting, since she knows I don't really know that many people. And even if I did, things couldn't get interesting because of my kids being around...Just invite a whole bunch of people and they will never know... call it friendsgiving
That's why you need to go to someone else's house! My wife would be wondering how I know all these people that I'd be inviting, since she knows I don't really know that many people. And even if I did, things couldn't get interesting because of my kids being around...
If there were litsters located near me here in the Tacoma, WA area, and they wanted to invite me to a gathering (especially if we thought it was going to get interesting), I would be more than happy to accept that invitation, believe me! I'd just tell the wife I'm meeting with some online friends. I'm sure it would be a night to remember! That's why you need to go to someone else's house!![]()
Cool! I do like it here, but it’s getting a little too big. I like a small town… but being so close to the mountains and having all the convenience is nice!I love Colorado Springs. I visited a friend years ago
