The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

It's a beautiful thing when life affords us the opportunity to be there for them and I'm glad you are able to be!
Not only should you consider a diary, but maybe you can get some audio recordings of her telling stories, family history, etc... there's also this...

For "normal" families, that's a nice idea. However, she's told the same fucking stories so many times, I tell them better than she does.

At first glance it looked like she’s smoking a ciggy! 😂

Momma’s last radiation treatment (I’m praying) today. Uncle’s lungs are clear, and I got good news on my mess…the Fed’s have deemed me worthy again! 😂

Busy day today, and SWMBO is treating me to a concert tonight. Will check in if I can. Go forth on this my day and make merry!

Abdolutely a win! 🎉

My husband had to have one every 3 years due to positive family history of colon cancer. After the first round with him, I would tell the GI doc what he needed for a prep. I would start his prep 3 days out. He needed 6 liters of Golitely (a misnomer if there ever was one!) in addition to laxatives.
Yep - some folks need the extended prep to be ready for the scope.
I don't need the extra liters of prep but I do start the diet changes and extend the liquid diet an extra day since my GI system is sometimes a bit on the slow side.
Certainly don't want them saying you're not clear enough to scope and then have to reschedule and start all over again.

The prep is worst than the colonoscopy!

I developed all kinds of appreciation for the nurses during one of my regularly scheduled events.
Let's just say someone came in that had failed miserably at the prep part. They were very kind too the patient but we're left too deal with it. Hats off too those nurses. Oh and to be "clear" it weren't me. I know how too follow instructions lol
