The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

Okay, up. Coffee'd, for the moment. Laundry is on. I'ma gonna text this guy with the 1941 anvil and tell him thanks but no thanks. The guy with the 1920 phaeton in KS is unresponsive. The guy with the 1931 Marmon in RI is responsive. Truthfully, I'd rather drive to KS than to RI, but the car is more gooderer.

Ah. Glad to hear that I misunderstook ya!
My Goddess broke Her ankle many, many years ago and suffers from it to this day... We have a "house rule" now.

Yeah: you get ladder doodie.

There is no other "you" here". I keep my 4' steppie folded and against the wall beside the bookcase so the house critters use it regularly to access the top, where they love to be. TDK misjudged a step going up and bumped her widdle kittehhead against the underside of the top Not-A-Step. It was kinda funny.

Poor kitty!

How was the fishing?
It was an awesome day! Started out with a dead calm on the river. Slow motored a couple of miles to a creek my son had been wanting to fish all summer. We get in and he instantly starts catching some small pin fish, but he’s excited even though they’re not keepers. We go a mile or so up to a bridge we cross every day on the way to school, startled a six foot basking alligator, and decided it was time to head back to the river.

Got back and some doood had camped out at the mouth of the creek so we headed back towards the hill. That’s when we go into them. Caught 3 slot puppy drum, and lost a fourth! The wind had picked up so we decided to head back in, and none too soon! It was a wet ride (our in between boat is a small creek boat) but we capped probably one of the best days out in a couple of months!

Here’s the funny part. Call SWMBO to give her a heads up supper is on the way. She’s been blindsided with granddaughter duty and starts whining and tells me to take it to mommas. I did and she whipped up some slaw and beans and it just was a fitting end to a really nice day on the water.

Oh…I did find a project boat! Hey Wat…think we can fix her?

Sheeyit!!! Honestly??? I think we can purt-near fix most anything we put our minds (and our wallets) to.

We might have to buy some more tools, too, so win x 73.
