My Tab story.

My mom’s middle sister was like the lady in the commercial. Thin, elegant, and impeccable taste.

We used to do these family jaunts out on the salt flats behind the dunes and crab and fish all day. We’d load up the two middle uncles 4-wheelers (the uncle in the hospital had a ‘73 Bronco, and the other a ‘74 K5 Blazer) and make a day of it.

That particular day my parents didn’t go but I did. And promptly sucked down all the 7Up’s and water. Baking in the summer heat, and pretty thirsty from doing kid stuff, I went to the cooler and there it was…nothing but TAB…because that’s what my Aunt drank…probably due to that commercial!

I had to drink that crap the rest of the day…I’m pretty sure it did lasting damage.

He’s doing well. O2 levels are back up, His extremities are warming up. I felt his hand yesterday and it was ice cold. Took momma today and they had a good visit. The last of two of six kids. Both of them with health issues. Sux watching your family dwindle and get run down, but both of them were joking and having fun.

Worked at the farm today. We are hosting a tree planting on Friday and we wanted it to look nice.

It sorta rained all afternoon. Just a steady drizzle… but by the time i really noticed, I was soaked. I wanted to do more, but we got enough done.

Then we watched the Indiana /Oregon game. It was a good one. I love big 10 football and my mom was an Indiana alum.

Osu won as well

I've turned on my furnace. I need to learn how to change the filter. My nephew is coming here; he will show me.

It’s super easy. Glad you have a good resource!!

He's right - easy, peasy.
When I replaced my furnace, the guys took a marker and wrote an arrow on the cover for where the filter goes. That way I never have to guess which way the filter goes in - I just match the arrows. It's awesome b/c I never thought to look at the arrows until I was putting the new filter in... and the old one was by then folded up in the trash.

Indiana is for real: good coaching. Oregon is a good team but young. So like UM which is also a young team, they make mistakes. The losses are good learning experiences.

Right there with you. Missed the early games as I was carting momma around most of the afternoon. Had fun with cousins and hanging with my uncle. We eventually had to go look for a new dryer for momma. Seems the kids have worn hers out!.

We have gale force winds today. It rained all day yesterday, but it’s windy and damp. After this front pushes we get some cool weather finally.
