The missus and I are gonna see the Raveonettes tonite in Asbury Park. Sharon Foo from the band is one of my many rock n roll crushes and I believe she is one of my celebrity hall passes from Mrs wonderer ….

So I’ll let yaz know if I get lucky tonite!

I think she is half danish and half Chinese. She is 100% hot.

Mixed feelings - where to start?

Yes, 3 MRIs back-to-back is a lot! Glad mom managed (this time) and hope she gets some definitive and actionable results this time.

Open MRI - that seems to be the story in any town. If there's one, there's only one and it's booked out farther than a pretty venue for June weddings.

That's one heckuva way to find out! I like they have the headphones now... and a heavy metal music option, too. My preference to begin with but I figure if the magnet's gonna be banging away anyhow...

Hopefully they find the source of her pain…I know the source…she tried to do too much too soon! Anyhow, she said she’s done with MRI’s…I might just put her on the schedule on the Open machine, just in case they want one at a later date. That way she’ll be in the pipeline and the clock is counting down.

We treated ourselves to a nice lunch at a new Peruvian Chicken joint. Big roasters friend over an open spit type thing. Pretty darn good. Had taken SWMBO to a Peruvian steak house in Miami last year that we really liked. Didn’t see any alpaca on the menu though?

Oktoberfest closing ceremonies will be commencing today and tomorrow…we have time for one or two more MZ’s——

Yeah, that’s an oldie but a goodie!

The hurricane made the turn and headed out towards Bermuda. Never heard if caught anything from it but I think it was only a Cat 1 and moving at a normal clip. We had some rain, heavy at times, but not like the bands we usually see with hurricane activity. Hardly any wind inland and oddly it cooled things down? Usually after a hurricane rips through it’s muggy.

We all faired well! Thanks for asking!. I guess I should dial up REO Speedwagon’s Riding The Storm Out!

I've been using a Chromebook for several years now and I kinda like the whole thing. Cheaper'n an Apple thingie and less buggy than a PC.

I’m a nerd leftover. Most of the time I’m here on a virtual machine I created about 2000. As hardware and OS evolve I keep upgrading it. Hence Win11. I do have a laptop so if I travel home I can have data if I need it. Battery has been dead forever. 15 years old that one. But it can’t make win11 so too bad. I will isolate it so it cannot see the internet and use it to remote the other systems here. It just won’t travel anymore.
Then there is times like now where I’m too lazy to get up and lurking via my iPad. Also an ‘old’ one I bought curious ~2015.

Morning all.

Up to my eyeballz in spreadsheets this week. Basically a number crunching fool. There is some light at the end of the tunnel, and when things are going well DO NOT STOP! So I've been missing this place concentrating to keep on rolling.

Sunny day here again, although it looks a bit cooler. If we're lucky it won't be windy today. Wind drive my allergies mad.

I get that, but I look at it this way. I’m in bed with Google. Google is probably a giant virus. The thing is, it keeps the other viruses out. I figured the cloud is the same way. They know when I look at what, but they don’t let anybody else know.
