Happy Tuesday. Slept okay. It's quiet at Teh Worktown landlady's place. The little cat was pleasant and welcoming. The big girl cat was in the middle of the floor and spread out to be even larger to take up more room and to make it more All About Her.

Lotsa city inspections today. I'ma get them steps in easy . . . .

Man, I had the damnedest day. Everyone was delighted to see me. I was first to the job. It was raining, rained all day. The siding guys were trying but gave up. The wire butchers hung in there working on outside lifting. We had a pleasant talk. I had to go to the box store. I went to the gas station I had gone to for weeks while working on the other job. The clerk asks, "where have you been???" I told her, and we chatted a bit. The store was fine. The problem calls were fine. Had a good chat with property management. We got some nice compliments from the residents. One of the residents hit on me, kinda jokingly. Stopped at the grocery store for a couple of things and saw the gas station clerk, who hugged me. The landlady is feeling poorly, but her girlcats were welcoming. The boy was his usually standoffish self. At least he was consistent.


I wonder what was in this morning's coffee . . . .

Sounds like a perfect day!

I have multiple siblings and a BFF that attended the same schools... and I remain on that same list.
They all know it's in their best interest not to help find me. IYKYK

My Lee Enfield is a great rifle. It’s accurate,, solid and that .303 round is the only round that would go through both sides of a 3/16” inch steel boiler we found in the farm.

30-06 M2 rounds? Nope. Thru one side only.
7.62x54R rounds? Nope. One side.
.303 British. Yup. Thru both sides!

That was a fun day!

I have my grandfather's old pump marlin shotgun. They reccomend not using it anymore. I had a hammer and when you pumped it to clear it it was cocked. Anyway it would but a nice hole in the side of the barn when you cleared it if you were not careful!
