The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

I have a fondness for the 300 H&H cartridge. Regarding Rovers, they are awesome if you appreciate inconvenience and expense.

My father did the British sports car thing back in the late 60s. the fact that the fuel pump would not operate properly on cold rainy days was truly bizarre for a vehicle designed and sold on a cold rainy island.

I’m going to look at a different kind of rifle. One with a threaded barrel….

I love my .375 H&H Mag, but my "go-to" is a custom built .35 Whelen on a Mauser action.
I've taken a liking to my 45-70 lever gun. Around here hunting is brush, it's easier to carry. I expect the boolet to deflect less than a small faster one if a twig finds itself in the way. And it doesn't need to mushroom, it's 45 caliber to start with! 🤣

I don’t have an old Mauser. Too bad I eventually scrapped that old boiler.

But now I’d like to find out!

It’s probably one of my next purchases. I may find an old m48 Yugo as a cheaper alternative. They were in 8mm and cheaper than the German stuff.

They have gotten more expensive over the years, but what hasn't? Back in late '97, I gave $200 for a 1939 K98k. I still have it. It still kicks like amulet, or did last I fired it.
