It’s probably one of my next purchases. I may find an old m48 Yugo as a cheaper alternative. They were in 8mm and cheaper than the German stuff.

Yes @Photog1rl has a great recipe thread over on the PG. I gave her one or two. We’ve talked about doing it here. She came over and told us what recipe app she used to make it, but it’s deep in the way back machine. I’ll try and find and repost if I have time.

I use Samsung Food app that allows me to pull off recipes from IG and other intweb places. This is how it looks with a copy…

Very much missed. In a crowded field of new talent she stood out. Self made, a throwback, a hot mess, that sadly flamed out much too early. Is she in the 27 club? Sad.

Well, the TS is heading out to sea. The only people that may feel the bite is Bermuda. Hopefully it’ll slide north of them. We had some heavy rain on and off.

The good news is I had the walking trails to myself. Go there and the rain started. The dog walkers headed for their cars and only around 5 of us crazy die hards hung in there. Having the place to myself, my rain jacket, and an overall love of dreary days (I’m guessing it’s my Scottish roots!), I got a pep in my step and knocked out 5 miles. When I left I was the last truck in the parking lot!

Yeah, I’m talking to my project manager. I’m still not sure if my construction manager gets it. They want to start the next project a week before Thanksgiving. And I told him that I’m taking off the last two weeks of the year already, and that it is not negotiable.

My Lee Enfield is a great rifle. It’s accurate,, solid and that .303 round is the only round that would go through both sides of a 3/16” inch steel boiler we found in the farm.

30-06 M2 rounds? Nope. Thru one side only.
7.62x54R rounds? Nope. One side.
.303 British. Yup. Thru both sides!

I'll keep that in mind if I'm ever hunting boilers!

I do know that the .270 Win will punch through the webbing of old railroad track. That turned out to be a surprise.

Hey everyone — glad to be part of this community. I wanted to share something I’ve been struggling with and see if anyone’s open to talking.

My fiancée and I recently started a new lifestyle where she’s seeing another man. At first it felt exciting because she keeps me involved and honest about everything they do. I actually liked being part of it. But over time I’ve noticed their connection getting stronger, and that’s brought up a lot of mixed feelings. On one hand it still excites me; on the other, I feel insecure and a little threatened about where this might go.

My father did the British sports car thing back in the late 60s. the fact that the fuel pump would not operate properly on cold rainy days was truly bizarre for a vehicle designed and sold on a cold rainy island.


I’m going to look at a different kind of rifle. One with a threaded barrel….
