The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

I’’m waaaay too lazy to look it up, but what is the difference between Class 1 / Class 3 streams? The flow? I’ve heard classes ascribed to rafting/kayaking but not fishing? 🧐
There’s some technical difference, I don’t know which. We have yet a third stream on our property that is classified as a class one trout stream, and it doesn’t even run in the summertime.

Government overreach.

But the big thing is that they all run into the class one stream at the foot of our farm, which is one of the headwaters of the Raritan River.

I get it that you wanna keep those waters clean, and let natural trout thrive there, but as a landowner it’s a pain in the ass.

The confusion between "class one/two/three" and the NJDEP's system likely stems from other states or local ordinances that use a numerical stream-ordering system. New Jersey's system is based on water quality and environmental value, not on the physical size or position of a stream within a watershed.

Not really.

I was gonna haveta move it anyway cuz I needed it deeper in the woods near our second bridge. But he dumped it right next to our stream and there’s a DEP field office just down the road… so I wanted to really get it out of sight right away.

The fucking feds???

I should get our crick looked at.

Because I can haz plans . . . .

Wow - what a shame that she gave away all of those old books. But one persons junk is another persons treasure.

Good ol Internet to the rescue.
When my grandmother passed I inherited her book collection. Some old things some newer things. My mother wasn’t one for keeping old junk. She and my aunt would have yearly yard sales and on one of these she cleaned out MY book collection…unbeknownst to me.

I’m helping a guy load up a box of books he bought and see my old books and told him hey, these were not supposed to be out here! He was like, sorry bub, they’re mine now, I paid for them. I let it go.

At some point later, don’t even remember how long, the dude brought the old ones back. Good on him!

He didn't toss them.

Tossers burn in Hell . . . .

Another productive day! I woke up early (for me) at 1000. It felt... odd... to be up so early! 😆😅

My young helper came to work in the yard with me. We cut a rhododendron bush that was over 10 ft tall virtually in half!

After:

We filled up the yard waste bucket and 3 black yard waste bags!

I also started painting the powder room shelf holder the wall base color. I've done 2 coats. I'm going to let them dry overnight then bring it up to see how it looks in the room. It may need another coat of paint.

And! I baked! My trainer had her bodybuilding competition today. I will see her on Tuesday and have promised her a basket of goodies. Today I made brookies. If you look closely, you can see the layer of chocolate chip cookies on the bottom. Brownie on top:

And chocolate chip cookies. This is 4 dozen.

One disappointment was I missed a call from my friend. I'm hoping she and I can connect tomorrow. I will be baking again but should have my phone with me this time. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

It's still the weekend! Enjoy your Sunday, everyone! I'm a tired girl! 💝✨💖
Whenever I see your goodies, I can't wait to get my mouth around them!

I’ll check that out! It’s funny, all these years later I’m just sort of discovering the backgrounds of a lot of these bands I grew up with. Never paid attention or cared, not sure which, but I find it interesting to dig into the how and whys.

Didn’t do a damn thing yesterday. Watched football, ate, napped, and will maybe rinse and repeat today unless the kid hits me up t go fishing. It’s been hot and I’ve been unmotivated. Did catch the F1 race this morning so I can now get on with my day!😂

happy Sunday to all! Old world critter MZ——

Sounds like a great day!! I really do like college football! Much more than professional football. I can’t even tell you why.

Well, I’m glad the dog has been destroyed. That is a dangerous dog and no telling when they will attack again.

I’m glad your daughter is doing much better and even happier that her dachshund is recovering!
