Well us old folk occasionally get insomnia or have to get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom.

I end up in bed about now too. But I tend to fall asleep watching tv, wake up to pee and watching something else. A vicious cycle, but eventually I get the sleep I need.

retired coworker's mom had shots for MAC-D. She had both wet and dry. I never got lots of details but don't recall anything negative. They helped to slow the progression. She was in her mid-80s at the time.

It simply goes with the territory of being chief engineer on a boat... technically, it puts me as second in command, fortunately I have a great crew and we just work as equals...

I thought they were also train engines. Interesting that they use them on ships too.

The first ones I ran had data tags stamped 1977 and 1978.
A technician was onboard doing and annual inspection and I told him it was impressive they're still running...
He replied
"Oh hell no! That ones a 1953 and that one's a 1957, those tags are when they got a factory reman!"

That was in 2017.
