Great progress on the trails today. I widened them to 20 feet. Then opened up an area about an acre near the south east deer stand. Then built a lateral trail that connects the loop trail.

The skies turned dark around 430 so I headed home, jumped in the pool and then enjoyed a nice thunderstorm.

Now dinner.

Suffered through a lead certification class today. Pain in the ass, but I acted the test. I always do for that kind of thing. It was kinda nice to see the office staff in their Natural Environment. I ragged the project manager. I also bailed him out of a major bitch from the owner about some knucklehead resident and the city code enforcement department. Long story short: we have done exactly Zero work in that unit because handicap accessible conversation to star in 2 months.


I'm just that damned good.

Sorry to hear that.

My mom had wet and dry AMD. I took her for Avastin injections every 2-3 months.

It was painful to watch, but they numbed the eye and her eye doc was amazing.

After the rest of the day off and resting she was good to go for another few months.

She read The NY Times every single day. She wood proofread it (and write letters outlining any mistakes) underline things she thought were important. She would write letters to the editor.

Reading the paper each day gave her joy and purpose. She got the paper delivered every day till she died.
