Quite the legacy!!
I remember the tutorial from my dad about "how to share the road with truckers". It started with Respect the Truck, Respect the Driver. 🚚🚛
Went on about how big trucks need so much more space for stopping and then all the different ways to communicate with headlights and turn signals.
Your dad may be one of the only drivers left on the road who still knows 'em. Today's drivers certainly don't seem to be in the know.
It's "off/on" at night, not "high/low"... I don't like a vehicle that I can't control the headlights on manually!

Hola..mi amigos
Hola!! Como estas?

I survived day one of training. Forgot a couple of documents and am scrambling to get copies sent across the state. Going to be interesting. Thankfully the instructor's rather chill and is allowing me to continue regardless. Right now it feels like drinking from a fire hose. We'll see how it goes.

Many thanks for all the love. I am absolutely fine with everything, even though, as Executor of the will, the mass of paperwork now awaits me.
Mum had a good couple of years after Dad passed, in her own apartment in a community of similar people. She made new friends and lived only 4 miles from my sister and nieces. She passed quickly and quietly. Hopefully, she is now back with Dad and the succession of ageing dogs that she took on in her later years.
A good, peaceful death is truly a blessing. I hope she is reunited with her husband, your father, and those dogs! All will be in their prime, vital and whole. 🫂💞🥰

Home. Had a nice visit with the landlady. She offered some supper. I turned it down. Watching my girlish figure, you see. Work went about like it usually does on the first day at a new place. It's like we have to train them all over again. They had a couple of replacement wire butchers, and we may need to send those guys back.

It'll work out. It always does.
