The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

Used to clean them for a computer shop I worked in. Back then we would pull the screws, dissasemble the keyboard, and dunk the key/frame in a sink with water and dish soap. Then scrub with a soft brush. Soak as necessary. Then rinse in clean water and let dry. Some reassembly required!
Hard to believe that you can put them in water, but I’m guessing you’re taking the guts out first…

Either way, good luck getting your keyboard operating @likes2watchU !
I did a modified version of that - popped all the keys and put them in a bowl w/ warm, soapy water. Then rinsed and let them dry.

Meanwhile, took cotton swabs dipped in rubbing alcohol and cleaned up the frame. Skipped removing the screws and pulling the rest of the keyboard apart to soak the frame, too. Didn't seem to need that level of cleaning.

Must say, I quite enjoyed the short-lived puzzle of putting all the keys back on the frame. A few of the larger keys may need to be pulled and reset a bit better as they tend to stick at times. But otherwise it works great and is the cleanest it's been in a long time. LOL

I may do a more thorough clean on my personal keyboard next weekend. Maybe... 😂
It's hunkered down due to the weather.
I'd LOVE to get a shot with It's wings open, but don't want to disturb it...
so pretty - and love that you're not forcing it just to get a good shot w/ wings open.
When we were riding some, there was a barn kitty who’d NapAttack…with all those kids around…how?
same way all those kids would just zonk out when their batteries hit 0
Had fun at the party making my beans and hanging with good friends
Glad you had a good hang w/ friends
I avoid most football get-togethers that involve my family - always a house divided... and they can get a bit... extreme for my likes

I had an uncle give me a piece of advice once. It boiled down to this. You have to live YOUR life. You’ve given them the love, support, and guidance to help them live THEIR lives.

Take care of you B2. I do understand your concern. I would feel that trepidation also if I were in your shoes.
Thank you as that is good advice.

So happy the work day is over
That last hour was brutal

Stuck in the middle of two co-workers
Playing operator until I insisted on a group call
Only to find out - one misread EVERYTHING
Their answers were based on an entirely DIFFERENT APPLICATION than the one I specifically made sure to properly reference in my wording so there would be no confusion.
This person didn't read - they skimmed for keywords and FUBAR'd the whole effing thing.
Stick a fork in me, Beavis... I'm done!
