I once had bilateral (both eyes) corneal abrasions. You literally cannot see when that happens. My girlfriend was dating an ophthalmologist and made him come to my house to examine and treat me. I couldn't work for several days until my eyes healed. I was lucky; without prompt treatment, I could have needed a corneal transplant.

So glad you got proper treatment quickly!! Your gf? Rock Star!! I had corneal scratches in one eye once. Can attest you can't see a dang thing for several days. We both got very lucky IMO!!

Rain here too... off/on during the day. I got lucky and stayed dry both times I went out to run errands. Then more last night - could hear it while I was reading in bed. Love that! Cooler here today, too. More my kind of weather. 62F and cloudy (16.6 C)

I was tired and a bit out of sorts today but went to the gym anyway. I'm glad I did. As much as she works me, I'm always glad when I go. Today I asked (ASKED!!) for the leg press. IDK what made me do it. I didn't do 460 today, but did do 5 sets of 370!

Then, I went to Home Goods looking for a pink enameled cast iron casserole. I didn't find it but this begged me to take it home! It's pink crackle glass!

This is the Angel Oak on John’s Island, south of Charleston. It’s not the side you usually see getting photographed but I thought this was a cool angle. It has B&W potential also? I had to really crop this down to make it fit. The old version of Photo on the iPad would let you size. Now I have to crop, screen shot, crop, till it fits. The original shot of this is more striking because the limbs on the ground appear to be reaching out to you…that got lost in this translation…
