I had a productive day today. I was going to work in the yard with my helper but we had rain on and off today. We even had thunder and lightning! ️🌩 So rare for us! Freaked out my girl!

I took the opportunity to get at some "Shit To Do List" items. The big one is I got my taxes done! When I worked on them in April, I realized I never got the SSA-1099 for my husband. I had to go to the SSA office to get one. They're done and filed now!

You guys on this side of the pond sleep well. I'm about to join you. Those of you just waking up on the other side have a great Sunday! ️

I've seen a lot of bees this year. My garlic chives have bloomed prolificly. I'm also in the process of allowing my grass to go wild. I have so much clover in it now. The bees love it!

I love that!! We plant alot of clover too - it’s great for bees and other pollinators.

And the garlic chives keep the deer out!

I routinely drive about 8-9 over on the freeways. Somehow, I always know when our law enforcement are about. I call it cop-dar!

I try not to draw that much attention. Besides, Petunia The Truck is red. Not bright fire engine red, but well within the Red Family Group of Colors. The little car is dark blue.

Calypso really loved clover. It must taste better or something. Anyway, I told the story of our last walk together last night. He got some tree leaves and two patches of clover. His human stood patiently with him while he finished off each clover patch.


The human was glad that he got to be a long for that one.

I have a busy day so I’m glad I slept in a bit. I have a walk with friends and then an afternoon coffee and lunch with my stepson. Then I hope to watch the Lions play the Packers.

Here are my changes today:

—1 lb of Chorizo (I couldn’t find the breakfast sausage so gonna put my Tex/Mex twist on it)
—Adding Two Hatch green chilis my SiL sent me from NM…and 1 Anaheim chili I grew in the garden
—Ditching the pepper flakes and adding Jalapeno powder mixed w chipotle powder…
**BBQ sauce can be just any Ol’ cheap stuff…I’ll probably add more onion than the recipe calls for also…

Hunkering down to watch the Formula 1 race, then off to cook! Everybody have a great Sunday!

I was never into it but did all the Property work for Frank Williams and his F1 team…. I particularly remember the wind tunnels … amazing

Those Williams color schemes are classic. When I was a kid I had those slot car tracks. I had a Williams car with the offset racing stripes….still my favorite…too bad the team is out of the family now.
