Inspired by your lunar pix, I went to the Oracle (U-toob) and started watching Celestial Vids w cameras. What a black hole that was, but I did come out of the other end and found two kids that got me on the right track w the same model of camera I have.

The landlady is on quite an adventure. Off to MI to pick up an anvil engines. It rained this morning. First thing, the passenger wiper arm failed. No matter, driver's side works. They get to MI and the truck beeps. They pull over at the auto parts store and the machine says #2 is misfiring. Okay, it's either the plug (not too likely) or the coil pack (more likely). It'll run, but 5/6 ain't smooth. Still, it'll get home. They got the engine, but I think they fucked about too much and will have to nap somewhere along the way back.


I'm damned glad they're hanging in there. This anvil motor was cheeep.

So far so good. Thing is, she can still use the truck for the little she needs it for until I can get there and fix the damned thing. No need to pay the wrench.

I had a crazy day at work. I knew it would be. I was producing a panel of experts and it seemed like all of the panelists had a case of the jitters and nervousness beforehand. I had to walk a few people off the “ledge.”

But it was a great panel! It went super smoothly and we got great kudos and will be hugely helpful to business development people in the field.

And a million other “important” requests and some interesting business deals to sort thru.

Then it was a sprint to get to the docs about an hour away to get a Cortizone injection for my back. This should help a lot of my back discomfort and sciatica and other back pain.

Funny sidenote. The doctor asked me what kind of music I’d like to hear while he did the injections. He and I have similar taste, so I said “oi!” Which is a sub genre of punk.

So this corker comes on.
The female x-ray tech was like “really?”
