Anyway, the library staff put up a sign that said “ please don’t use books to prop open the door, it ruins the finish.”

I'm always leery or anything heavily advertised like this. If cannabis is legal where you are, you can get gummies and other products that should work in a similar manner.

My nephew got me some pot to help me sleep. I cut the pills into quarters which works for me when I need it. They dissolve orally so I get the benefit of sublingual absorption.

Indica is generally good for relaxation. Sativa is a more uplifting blend.
