We thrusted and parried until we talked about the two antique carriages in the barn. And I knew more about them than he did. Had a fun afternoon. In the chaos of two major projects, we had a broker boat trip event at the Jersey shore.

We rented a pontoon boat and sailed all over manasaquan bay. Very nice - a great day to be on the water w a nice sea breeze. Wrapped up w a happy hour on solid land. And got some promising new looks at some business were trying to do.

So work… but better than the office. Much better.

I've been on 2 boats which took direct lighting strikes, but they're a better "path to ground" than human flesh... but it'll still scare the chit out of you. 🤣...
It doesn't do the vessel's electronics any good either 🤣
 
I had an eventful day. It started by getting woken up at 0800. 🤬🤬 Seems the neighbors across the street are having their roof done. So a big-ass truck rolled up on our sleepy street all air braking and back-up beeping. 😤🤬

I tried to go back to sleep but was unsuccessful. So, I took myself into the toxic waste dump that is my office and started making an effort to do some clean up before the Xfinity tech got here. He got here and figured out what the problem was, fixed it, installed my new modem, and made sure I kept the same password! I sent him on his way with cans of coke and bottles of flavored mineral water. He tried to demure but my housekeeper advised him to just go with it as he would NOT win with me! 😅😂

I worked with my housekeeper in the house. I had to clean out a closet that holds the attic access for the electrician guys the other day. I went through all the stuff that I pulled out of it. Mostly empty boxes and old phones. She was AMAZED that the closet got cleaned out.

I also painted some metal hummingbirds that I'm using for a little art project. They just weren't standing out like I hoped. So, I gathered up some nail polish and painted them. I like how they turned out!

Then, I went to my friends' across the street for dinner. I brought my dog with me as she and my friend are crazy about each other.

I have gym tomorrow. 🏋️‍♀️ 💪 My trainer will be in fine form, ready to beat me up!

It's FRIDAY now! That means weekend time, baby! I hope you all have a great day as you slide into the weekend. ✨️💕✨️

I have a rifle at the FFL that I can pick up tomorrow. If I'm lucky, the other one will come in, too and I can do a twofer. I still have another package missing in transit. Go figure . . . .


Oddly, the stuff that came USPS shows up as advertised.
