Trump buried for threat to turn weapons and ‘vicious dogs’ on DC protesters: ‘You love this violence’

As the 177th Week of Trump's Maladministration begins, Hair Twittler waves his inner Nazi!

A four-part tweet by Donald Trump on Saturday morning, where he warned protesters away from the White House with a threat of “the most vicious dogs, and most ominous weapons,” was greeted with disbelief and anger on Twitter, with one commenter noting: “You love this violence.”

According to the president, “Great job last night at the White House by the U.S. @SecretService. They were not only totally professional, but very cool. I was inside, watched every move, and couldn’t have felt more safe. They let the “protesters” scream & rant as much as they wanted, but whenever someone got too frisky or out of line, they would quickly come down on them, hard – didn’t know what hit them. The front line was replaced with fresh agents, like magic. Big crowd, professionally organized, but nobody came close to breaching the fence.”

He then added, in part: “If they had, they would have been greeted with the most vicious dogs, and most ominous weapons, I have ever seen. That’s when people would have been really badly hurt, at least. Many Secret Service agents just waiting for action.”

Internet responds with glee!:D

Did Trump just signal his MAGA supporters to show up at the White House protests?

A comment Donald Trump made on Twitter has set off massive speculation Saturday morning with many wondering if the president is trying to encourage his fans to show up outside the White House on Saturday evening and confront protesters calling for justice for George Floyd.

In the tweet in question, the president wrote: “The professionally managed so-called ‘protesters’ at the White House had little to do with the memory of George Floyd. They were just there to cause trouble. The @SecretService handled them easily. Tonight, I understand, is MAGA NIGHT AT THE WHITE HOUSE???”

Calling all MAGA'ts!

‘Law and order’: Watch Trump take the racist killing of a black man by white cops and turn it into a race war

Today, in 2020, it’s George Floyd in Minneapolis, killed by a police officer kneeling on his throat during an arrest for the alleged offense of “forgery.” Cell phone cameras captured the whole thing. Images of a handcuffed black man lying face-down on the street, under the knee of a white police officer, quickly flew around the world. Rioting broke out on Wednesday and Thursday nights. Stores were looted. Buildings burned. Early on Friday morning, fires burned at the Third Police Precinct in Minneapolis, where the four officers present at the death of George Floyd were assigned.

Also protests were launched across America in support with Minnesota citizens! I was going to post the head lines of them but there are too many and it would just be too much of a downer.

Trump’s attacks on protesters derailing his campaign’s attempt to appeal to Black voters: report

On Friday, Politico detailed how the killing of George Floyd, and the ensuing protests, have put President Donald Trump in a difficult position as his campaign struggles to improve his standing with Black voters.

“President Donald Trump is throwing himself into a culture war he has long stoked, and a battle for voters he has eagerly pursued, as he navigates national outrage over the brutal killings of two black men — one at the hands of police, the other at the hands of white civilians,” reported Gabby Orr and Laura Barrón-López. “Trump’s reelection coalition leans heavily on support from law enforcement and the MAGA base, including many supporters eager to promote police officers and immigration agents as heroes. At the same time, campaign aides believe his path to victory in November relies, in part, on drawing in black voters, particularly black men, for whom encounters with police could become matters of life and death.”

Donald the Dipshit, let his real feelings out and will piss off Blacks Biggly!

About 75% of Trump’s proposed coronavirus capital gains tax cut would go to the top 1% of earners

Trump has repeatedly floated a cut to capital gains taxes, which are taxes paid by investors on profits made when an asset, like stock or real estate, is sold. The capital gains tax rate is already 35% lower than the top income tax rate, and only about 6% of households in the bottom 80% of earners claim any capital gains, meaning the overwhelming majority of benefits would flow to the wealthy.

Trump looks after his people quite nicely!

Trump shows all the signs of being ‘rattled’ now that the White House is under siege from protesters: columnist

In a column for the Atlantic, longtime political observer Peter Nicholas stated that Donald Trump is showing all the signs of a scared man as massive protests have broken out across the country over the murder of George Floyd at the hands of four former Minneapolis cops — and angry Americans are taking their case all the way up to the White House gates.

As Nicholas wrote, “Presidents live within a protective cocoon built and continually fortified for one purpose: keeping them alive. But inside the White House compound these days, Donald Trump seems rattled by what’s transpiring outside the windows of his historic residence.”

“Presidents don’t normally feel compelled to boast about their protection. Trump wrote in a tweet that Washington Mayor Muriel Bowser wouldn’t let the city’s police force assist during protests Friday. (That’s not the case; Secret Service said that city police officers were indeed on the scene.) In a tweet of her own, Bowser called Trump ‘a scared man. Afraid/alone,” he wrote.

Why out send Prince Jared out to calm the crowd? :)

‘Absolute vacuum in leadership’: Internet shreds ‘coward’ Trump for hiding as 75 cities protest

President Donald Trump is under fire Sunday after the White House announced he will not be seen today despite five days and nights of protests in more than 75 cities across the country and governors in at least ten states activating the National Guard.

Possibly more than at any time during his three-and-a-half year old administration Trump is taking tremendous criticism for how he has managed the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and for his handling of the protests against the killing by police of George Floyd.

Trumpy has been pretty quiet today. As it appears the country holds him in minimal high regard, Trump is afraid to spew much shit. Is he finally learning to keep his mouth shut,... for how long?:D

Cars set on fire blocks from White House as DC protests turn violent

The Washington, D.C. protests turned violent as the city approached the 11 p.m. curfew the mayor instituted Sunday afternoon.

The policy of D.C. police is that when they are attacked, they advance forward. So, when fireworks were fired, the line of officers began pushing the protesters back further from the White House. Behind the line of police officers also stand a line of National Guard troops that President Donald Trump has demanded stand watch in the city.

It was reported earlier Sunday, that Trump faced enough “danger” that he was taken to the protective underground bunker in the “belly” of the White House by the Secret Service. The bunker hasn’t been used since Sept. 11, 2001, when terrorists hijacked the passenger planes that were headed to attack the U.S. Capitol.

Can we keep him there?:);):)

As Monday dawns Trumpy is finding even China hooting on him!

Trump mocked in China’s state media for fleeing to bunker in the face of protests: ‘Mr President, don’t go hide’

According to a report in The Guardian, Chinese state media and government leaders are mocking reports that Donald Trump fled to a secure bunker under the White House in the face of massive police brutality protests that reached the White House gates.

Following reports that a “rattled” Trump was ushered to safety by the Secret Service as police battled with George Floyd protesters in the streets of Washington, D.C, among other cities, officials in China took notice.

“At a press conference on Monday, foreign ministry spokesman, Lijian Zhao urged the US to eliminate racial discrimination and protect the lawful rights of minorities, according to state-backed media, CGTN. ‘The death of George Floyd reflects the severity of racial discrimination and police brutality in the US,’ said Zhao,” reports the Guardian. “Zhao also threatened ‘counter-attacks’ on the US for continued retaliatory measures over China’s increased control over Hong Kong, which include reversing Hong Kong’s special customs status. On Sunday China’s foreign ministry spokeswoman, Hua Chunying posted ‘I can’t breathe’ – Floyd’s last words – to Twitter, with a screenshot of her American counterpart criticizing China’s crackdown on Hong Kong.”

More pointed attacks on Trump came from Hu Xijin, editor-in-chief of nationalist tabloid Global Times.

It wasn’t just Derek Chauvin who crushed the life out of George Floyd — it was the force of American history

Encouraging police brutality and other forms violence is one of Donald Trump’s favorite things to do.

In a 2017 speech, Donald Trump told police: “Please don’t be too nice” to suspected criminals.

Predictably, Trump’s administration has systematically removed civil rights protections designed to hold America’s police accountable for acts of brutality and other crimes against the public.

The killing of George Floyd is the most immediate reason why tens of thousands of people have taken to the streets. But these protests are also a response to the larger system of social inequality and injustice which provided the context for Floyd’s killing, and for the fact that Minneapolis officers reasonably believed they could commit such a heinous act without being punished.

In the Age of Trump these longstanding injustices have been made worse by the president, the Republican Party and their allies and supporters. The corporate neoliberal wing of the Democratic Party shares no small part of the responsibility for perpetuating said injustices.

George Floyd’s suffering was not an isolated event. It is one of millions of such moments in a chain of black human suffering in America that stretches back prior to 1619 in Jamestown, Virginia, and continues in the Age of Trump.

Germany's Merkel rejects Trump invite to attend G7 summit in Washington

Thanks but NO!

German Chancellor Angela Merkel has refused to accept U.S. President Donald Trump’s invitation to attend an envisaged summit of the Group of Seven (G7) in the United States, Politico reported on Friday.

“The federal chancellor thanks President Trump for his invitation to the G7 summit at the end of June in Washington. As of today, considering the overall pandemic situation, she cannot agree to her personal participation, to a journey to Washington,” the report quoted German government spokesman Steffen Seibert as saying.

“She will of course continue to monitor the development of the pandemic.”

Trump believes there would be “no greater example of reopening” than holding a G7 summit in the United States near the end of June, the White House said on Tuesday.

Angela doesn't want to come to a pandemic hell hole in the middle of a riot!:D

Trump drowned in scorn for turning off White House lights as if he ‘ran out of Snickers’ on Halloween

The White House turned off the external lights Sunday night as protests raged nearby, and the unusual reaction served as a metaphor for President Donald Trump’s leadership during the latest crisis.

The president was also whisked away to an underground bunker as Washington, D.C., police fired tear gas at protesters, who set fire to prominent structures across the city as part of nationwide demonstrations against police brutality.

The tweets were caustic!

Trump turning off the lights at The White House describes the current situation in America perfectly. Nobody's home.#BunkerBoy

Like all other strong men, Donald Trump is a coward and soft and terrified. Hiding in the White House and turning off the lights is all on brand. These are insecure, sad little men who build themselves up with the iconography of fascism to hide their fear.

This is eerily symbolic of the Trump Administration. In the midst of multiple crises He turns of the lights in the White House:

- Global pandemic with more than 100,000 people dead in the US.
- More than 40 million people unemployed
- Coast to Coast Protests

White House turning off its lights and pretending no one’s home, as if there’s been a president there for the last three and a half years.

He's NOT the president...for a few more months that is....meanwhile the president has turned off the lights on the White House and is sucking his thumb in his wittle baby bunker #BunkerBoy #BunkerDon #bunkerbitch

COWARD TRUMP!

did anyone else see trump this evening....walk across the street....surrounded by a phalanx of secret service men...to stand in front of a damaged church...with a bible in his hand....to have his picture taken? see-he's not hiding in his bunker. he's going to a deserted street for a photo-op.

Here’s why DC’s fate could depend upon 10 key words

As protests roiled the nation’s capital on Monday night, one Democrat in Congress asked a question of Mark Milley, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

The context behind the question was President Donald Trump’s assistance on using the military to quell protests against police violence.

“Do you intend to obey illegal orders from the president?” Ruben Gallego asked chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Mille, in a one-line letter with a single, 10-word question.

"Have you stopped beating your wife?":D

‘Oh my God!’: CNN’s Anderson Cooper appears appalled by the real reason Trump went to St. John’s Church

On Monday evening, President Donald Trump appeared to cause mass disruption and chaos as federal police cleared peaceful protesters with forceful tactics outside the White House ahead of his walk to the nearby St. John’s Church.

“Oh my God!” said Cooper, rolling his eyes. “Wow! We are in trouble. This country is being led by a man … he was taken to a bunker, and you know, he’s hiding in a bunker, and he’s embarrassed that people know that. So what does he have to do? He has to sic police on peaceful protesters so he can make a big show of being, you know, the little big man, walking to a closed down church. And then, you know, he always talks about the world laughing — that the world is laughing at the governors right now. They’re not laughing at the governors, they’re standing in horror at what is happening. The only people that the world is laugh at is the president of the United States.”

Even Boris Johnson is chuckling. :D

‘Lay down your arms’: Bronze Star-winner in Congress urges military to ‘be on the right side of history’

The United States military received a message from a decorated Congressman that would have seemed unthinkable just a week ago.

Rep. Seth Moulton (D-MA) served four tours of duty in Iraq, receiving the Bronze Star Medal and the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal for valor.

Since 2015, Moulton has served as a member of Congress. On Monday, he made a plea to his former colleagues in uniform.

“We are a nation founded in dissent, birthed in freedom, committed to equality, and yet regularly reminded that we struggle to achieve all three,” Moulton tweeted.

“The President has made it clear that the fight for these Constitutional principles is a fight against himself,” he explained. “We must therefore, with every ounce of conviction, every commitment to peace, and every glimmer of hope, join in lawful protest to overcome his tyranny.”

“And if he chooses to abuse the military as a tyrant would do—to stifle dissent, suppress freedom, and cement inequality—then I call on all our proud young men & women in uniform, as a veteran and a patriot, to lay down your arms, uphold your oath, and join this new march for freedom,” he urged.

“Be on the right side of history: the side of patriots, of our Constitution, of our flag, and of our freedom,” Moulton explained.

 Make a choice, the Congressman said, support the Constitution!

‘Martial law’ trends on Twitter as Trump deploys the military against the American people

On Monday, in the wake of President Donald Trump’s speech announcing he would deploy the military to control nationwide police brutality protests, “Martial Law” began trending on Twitter, with commenters expressing horror about the implications for the rule of law.

Pretty ironic that the NRA - who always talk about the need for armed citizens to fight a tyrannical government gave 30 million to the coward in chief who just declared martial law.

I have to apologize to all the conspiracy theorists I called crazy cause they definitely said Trump was going to declare Martial Law before elections and here we are:eek:

Y’all telling us to “VOTE”—the election is 5 months away but martial law is tomorrow. So what’s plan B?

trump just declared martial law while we face the highest unemployment rate since the great depression. have yall ever wondered what it was like to live during the french revolution and if so is this what you pictured because-

Donald Trump holding up a bible after threatening the American people with Martial Law is FASCISM.
