‘Why do we need camo in space’: Trump’s Space Force ridiculed for woodland camouflage uniforms

https://www.rawstory.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/US-Space-Force-400x240.jpg
On Friday, the United States Space Force released an image of their new uniforms on Twitter.

The image shows a Battle Dress Uniform (BDU) for a four-star general in a woodland camouflage pattern, with a matching camo nametape.

However, many people were confused as to why the Space Force would use uniforms designed to blend in on earth.

Just out of curiosity...
If enlisted members of the Air Force are "Airmen," are enlisted members of the Space Force "Spacemen?"
Also, if you get a service academy, will there be "Space Cadets?"

Replying to @SpaceForceDoD and 6 others
IS THIS FOR HIDING IN SPACE TREES

In space no one can see your camouflage

WIngs in Space? A HiVis Orange might be more practical as you want to be seen in Space.

‘Take your letter and shove it’: Rep. Ted Lieu sends fiery response after Devin Nunes threatened to sue him

Democratic Rep. Ted Lieu of California fired a salvo at Republican Rep. Devin Nunes, also of California, on Friday by posting a letter responding to his colleague’s threat of a lawsuit.

Lieu said that Nunes had threatened to sue him, a fact he first made public on Wednesday. In a tweet on Friday, Lieu shared a picture of a letter from Nunes’ attorney, with the subject line “RE: Nunes v. Lieu.” Though Lieu only shared the first of what he said was five pages of the letter, the visible text made clear that Nunes’ complaint almost certainly involved defamation, for which the Republican has been suing many of his critics in recent months.

In addition to the page from Nunes’ lawyer, Lieu also shared his response. His letter, addressed to Nunes lawyer Steve Bliss, was scathing:

Dear Mr. Biss,

I received your letter dated December 31, 2019 in which you state your client Congressman Devin Nunes will sue me if I don’t, among other actions, issue a public apology to Devin Nunes. It is true that I stated Congressman Nunes worked with Lev Parnas and conspired to undermine our own government. As you know, truth is a defense. So go read the documents and text messages provided by Lev Parnas to the House of Representatives, and watch his interview on the Rachel Maddow Show, which aired on January 15, 2020, that directly implicates Rep Nunes.

I welcome any lawsuit from your client and look forward to taking discovery of Congressman Nunes. Or, you can take your letter and shove it.

Mooo!, Asshole!:D

Lev Parnas details ‘intimate’ cannabis industry dinner with Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump

In an extensive interview with the Daily Beast, Lev Parnas — the associate of Rudy Giuliani who is at the center of more allegations of corruption against Donald Trump — revealed details of a meeting he had with Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner that the White House has tried to dismiss.

Speaking with the Beast’s Betsy Swan, Parnas stated that we was a participant at a private dinner at the Trump Hotel, with Swan writing, “In October 2018, he attended a dinner in a private suite at Trump Hotel hosted by the pro-Trump super PAC America First Action. The dinner, with around a dozen people, connected Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump with leaders in the cannabis industry. Parnas said he was invited because he “was a Trump loyalist,” and because the super PAC’s Director of Development Joey Ahearn knew he was pro-cannabis.”

:)

Lev Parnas is the smoking gun in Trump’s Ukraine scandal — and why you’re not going to see any witnesses in the Senate trial

Parnas is the reason Republicans are so scared of opening the Senate trial of Trump to witness testimony. According to Parnas, everyone was in on the Ukraine scheme. Trump himself, of course, but also Vice President Mike Pence was in on it. So was Attorney General William Barr, so was Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and so were Secretary of Energy Rick Perry and national security adviser John Bolton. At the very center of the scheme, according to Parnas, was the man he worked for, Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani.

Lev Parnas inserted himself into the maelstrom of TrumpWorld with a $50,000 donation during the 2016 campaign, and a $325,000 donation to the Trump super PAC, America First Action, in 2018. He was invited to functions at Mar-a-Lago and the White House, and photographs of Parnas with Trump, members of his family and high officials in the Trump administration have been all over TV screens this week. Parnas was in Ukraine working for Giuliani and texting Rick Perry, Giuliani, various Trump aides and Trump friends like Tom Hicks Jr., who was chairman of America First Action until he left to become co-chairman of the Republican National Committee.

Why is no one asking where Lev got the Money he donated to Trump?

More likely Lev should be known as the Smooking Goon.:D

They don't have to ask. Some time ago the money was identified as coming from the Russian oligarchs.

With Trump, all roads lead back to Vladimir Putin and the Russians.

:) Yes but why is it not in the coverage over and over and over again? \

Not even left wing media hammers this point. Lev is being foisted as a "Real Patriot" when he is just a conduit for Russian money to the GOP.

Because the Trumpettes just deny it and the rest of us--the majority of Americans--know it is obvious truth. Trump's entangling/controlling Russian connections are continually pointing it out.

Lev Parnas ran to Maddow over fear Justice Department officials would bury Bill Barr allegations: ex-prosecutor

Appearing on MSNBC’s “AM Joy,” a former prosecutor speculated that indicted Lev Parnas — who has leveled a stunning amount of accusations against President Donald Trump and senior administration officials — likely agreed to speak candidly with MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow because he fears for his life and felt Attorney General Bill Barr couldn’t be trusted.

“That must be part of the motivation for getting his story out because, think about it, if he had been dealing with the Southern District of New York prosecutors behind closed doors, giving up Bill Barr, Trump and others and all of a sudden something happened to him like happened to [Jeffrey] Epstein, well, all of that information would then be put under wraps by Bill Barr the same way we really haven’t gotten to the bottom of what happened to Epstein,” he suggested. “And so I think this was a smart move and maybe for his own personal safety — this was Lev Parnas’ only play to get the information out to the American people so he doesn’t get Epstein-ed.

'A rapist in your path' anthem sets defiant tone at Women's March

Thousands march around White House and perform Chilean feminist anthem at 4th annual Women's March in Washington, DC.

Washington, DC - Pointing at the US White House on Saturday, women and their supporters chanted: "The oppressive state is a rapist. The rapist is you."

The lyrics are part of a Chilean performance piece that has become an anthem of the feminist movement worldwide.

"Patriarchy is a judge, that judges us for being born, and our punishment is the violence you don't see," the group, led by members of Chile's Las Tesis feminist collective, yelled in unison as protesters came to a halt along a route that nearly circled the White House.

Civil War?

Trump ‘is not a very stable genius’: George Conway destroys the president for hyping harsh new book

Prominent Republican attorney George Conway ridiculed President Donald Trump on Saturday over a new book that is rattling the White House.

The book, A Very Stable Genius: Donald J. Trump’s Testing of America, was written by Pulitzer Prize-winning Washington Post journalists Philip Rucker and Carol Leonnig.

The book will be officially released on Tuesday, but it appears that Conway received an advance copy.

Twitter Fight!

Less than half-an-hour later, Trump offered his own review of the book, which he bashed as being “demeaning and belittling.”

Conway replied to Trump’s tweet, saying the book “is a must-read!”

Book's out Tuesday. :)

Ex-GOP lawmaker who met Parnas multiple times breaks ranks and calls him ‘credible’: ‘Everything he’s saying is true’

Appearing on MSNBC’s “AM Joy,” former GOP lawmaker Carlos Curbelo (R-FL) was asked about his own relationship with Lev Parnas — whose bombshell interview with MSNBC’s Rachael Maddow has rocked Donald Trump’s administration — and what the Rudy Giuliani’s associate had to say.

Pointing out that Parnas is also a resident of Florida, Curbelo explained how he has managed to insinuate into Republican politics over the years and likely has much to tell.

“Lev Parnas lives in South Florida as well,” he told the MSNBC host. ” I certainly hope it’s nothing in the water down here, but from what I can tell, Lev Parnas is someone who probably accidentally ended up in this world and once he got into it he was consumed by it.”

"Florida Man left holding the bag of, receipts!":D

Texas GOPer Cornyn blames Trump’s problems on campaign ‘grifters’ — then calls Giuliani ‘not relevant’

Bad Companions, misled Trumpski!

Appearing on CBS’s “Face the Nation,” Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) attempted to blame Donald Trump’s impeachment problems on “grifters” who found a way to attach themselves to the now-president when he began to run for president.

Speaking with host Margaret Brennan, Cornyn was asked about allegations made by Rudy Giuliani associate Lev Parnas that have implicated not only the president but Vice President Mike Pence and senior White House officials in an attempt to strongarm the leaders of Ukraine in return for military aid.

“Well, there is no question that there have been a series of grifters and other hangers-on that have associated themselves with the president’s campaign or claim to have special relationships with the president, but this is not the issue that the Senate is going to be deciding,” Cornyn said dismissively.

Yeah if Trumpski hadn't been surrounded with grifters, he would'a been golden. Who picked these grifters??????

‘Comparing yourself to terrorists?’ Internet cracks up at Trump saying dead 9-11 hijackers got more justice than him

President Donald Trump quoted Fox News host Mark Levin that left many scratching their heads. Levin, who has a show on Sunday evenings, claimed that the terrorists from Sept. 11 got more due process than the president.

The claim was a curious one because, as many on Twitter noted, it’s not often that the president of the United States compares himself to a terrorist. Secondly, the 9-11 hijackers all died in the attack, as they were on the planes that crashed into the buildings and into a Pennsylvania field.

Lots of people are saying that Trumpski should get the same process as the 9/11 hijackers!:D

Packers fans pile on Pence for jinxing team with boast they’d beat ‘Nancy Pelosi’s 49ers’ at rally last week

The Packers were impotent just like the Rethuglicunts and LOST!

Looking for someone to blame after the Green Bay Packers failed to make it to the Super Bowl, suffering a crushing defeat by the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday night, fans of the midwestern team turned their ire on Vice President Mike Pence because he jumped on the Packer bandwagon last week at a rally saying they would beat “Nancy Pelosi’s 49ers.”

The 49ers are no longer in San Francisco and are now Santa Clara 49ers. Even they got pushed out of SF by gentrification.
:D

Bill Barr Gets Caught With His D*ck In Rudy's Cookie Jar ... Again.

But enough about Ukraine, let's talk about Venezuela. Particularly about Rudy Giuliani and Bill Barr and whatever hinky shit the two of them were cooking up when Rudy went down to the Justice Department last September to ask the DOJ to prettyplease not indict his Venezuelan client Alejandro Betancourt López as part of a massive money laundering case in Florida.

Betancourt had generously hosted Giuliani and his henchman Lev Parnas at his estate in Madrid where they traveled to meet with Ukrainian President Zelenskyy's aide Andrey Yermak last August during their peregrinations across Europe in search of dirt on Joe Biden. The next month, Giuliani returned the favor by using his contacts at the Justice Department to score a face-to-face with Brian Benczkowski, head of the criminal division, to plead Betancourt's case. Which is a nice perk you get when you hire the president's personal lawyer and subsidize his backchannel ratfucking for the president!

This was already a bad look, but when Parnas and Fruman got arrested in October and news leaked that the feds were probing Giuliani for possible campaign finance and foreign lobbying crimes, the high-level meeting with Benczkowski, an obvious favor for one of Trump's pals, looked even worse. So the DOJ swung into action, with spokesman Pete Carr telling reporters, "When Mr. Benczkowski and fraud section lawyers met with Mr. Giuliani, they were not aware of any investigation of Mr. Giuliani's associates in the Southern District of New York and would not have met with him had they known."

:D

Trump’s poll numbers have tanked in the last month — and even his supporters agree he broke the law: report

President Donald Trump excitedly promoted his 51 percent approval, though he didn’t say what that approval was for.

As it turns out, 51 percent of Americans support removing Trump from office, a new CNN poll showed. The number prompted a flood of people talking about the 51 percent on Twitter Monday afternoon.

Trump, by contrast, is struggling to hold himself over 40 percent approval. At the same time, people are leaning more toward removing the president from office. Sadly, for Trump, 57 percent of Americans don’t approve of the way he’s been handling the impeachment and only 38 percent approve.

The new CNN poll shows a shocking increase over the same poll one month ago. “Net support for removing Trump from office is up 8 points since mid-December,” pointed out Virginia state senate chief of staff Matt Rogers.

Also ~74% have been following the Impeachment closely. :)

Iranian lawmaker offers $3 million ‘to anyone who kills Trump’

An Iranian lawmaker on Tuesday offered a $3-million reward to “anyone who kills” US President Donald Trump to avenge the assassination of a top general, semi-official news agency ISNA reported.

Ahmad Hamzeh, a little-known member of the Majlis, made the offer on behalf of the people of Kerman, the hometown and final resting place of storied commander Major General Qasem Soleimani.

With Trupski in Davos, it just sweetens the target set!:)
