Amid a debate about the release of grand jury information from special counsel Robert Mueller’s report, Republicans have issued an ultimatum: impeach President Donald Trump if you want to see the report.

Politico reported that in the wake of a federal appeals court decision Friday that ruled grand jury information can only be released via formal changes to the law, the GOP is now playing hardball with Democrats seeking to get information from Mueller’s top-secret grand jury.

This is a Click Bait headline. The issue is the Grand Jury info in the Report, which will require a Judge to consent to release. Rethuglicans have no say if Jerry asks the Judge to allow Congress to have the Information. On Sunday, former federal prosecutor and MSNBC legal analyst Glenn Kirschner highlighted why President Donald Trump’s Attorney General William Barr made a grave mistake in waiting for House Judiciary Committee chairman Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) to subpoena special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe, rather than moving quickly to release it on his own terms.

“There’s been a lot of talk about whether Chairman Nadler was right to pursue subpoenaing the report,” said Kirschner. “And I actually think there’s one important reason that he is right, and that it was wise to subpoena the report.
