I wasn't paying attention as I figured it would only be on a cable station. But it turns out I can catch Dr. Who!

Yay!

So I did.

And damn it was fun. The same fun stuff I remember, equal parts silly comedy and scary suspense.

I loved it!

And best of all, the next one has the Daleks. I can't wait!

Oh yeah Earl. It was enormously cool.

I thought Eccleston made a great Doctor.

The episode I saw was the one with the last half hour of the planet Earth. And the flat lady.

Eccleston showed such a fine range of emotions from perverse comedy to cold anger. Very nice.

Now, can some one tell me why The Doctor is the last Time Lord? Dr. Who kind of vanished from TV over here in the colonies, so I missed the last few seasons.

Who did in the Time Lords, and why?

Unfortunately I've missed most of the season. I am now, for the first time in a while, praying for re-runs.

If you've just watched the one with the flat lady and where the Earth gets destroyed, then you've only missed one episode. That one (The End Of The World) is only the second one. And the first one was a bit tosh, so you didn't miss much there.
