Do members of each couple merely try to seduce another, or more? Any voyeurs around? Does the OC (older couple) exploit or dominate the YC (younger couple), or vice-versa? Any weird cults or S/M groups? Does the daughter come home unexpectedly, maybe with a friend or three? Any naturists here? Is the backyard swimming pool clothing-optional? Any Mustangs in the story? What other tropes can be worked in?

Totally different dynamics. Not that that's bad... but it's been done, and IMHO demands a new take. Another option: it's an older man or woman who moves in with the younger neighbors. And just because they're single, are they alone, or do they bring visitors? In any of these scenarios, one or more of the parties may be a manipulator, or a naif, or a target. The final story could be tragic or comedic or fuckathon-ic. Are many possibilities.
