Thanksgiving

My parents host Thanksgiving every year. Usually about 20-25 people every year, so there I will be. Unfortunately I have to go to work in the afternoon.

will be on the road this year with my son and sister (changing jobs so travel it is) so I am sure we will just find a place to dine on the road. Thinking we will be in Memphis or maybe Atlanta by Thursday.

Atlanta? You ought to stop by, if you do come to Atlanta. We should do at least a cup coffee at one of the local Waffle Houses and say hello, nice to meet ya.

As for our Thanksgiving. Going to be different since my Step-Dad passed away a while back. But like all families we will get through it. Just going over the river and through the woods to my brothers house this year. His turn to host

Might even fire up the smoker, do a ham and or turkey in it. Last year my kids said that was most juicy turkey they ever had, beats doing it in the oven an making for one dry bird.
