Me, I'm heading the family get together, it'll last 2 hours, no longer. We can't stand to be together longer than that. We love each other and stuff but our family get togethers are short and sweet.

After that, I head to the nearest town to be with my best friend and her family. I get invited every year and I go every year. It is a lot more fun than my family thing. This year, I am hoping Jennifer comes with me.


So now that I have spilled my family plans, give us the 4-1-1 on yours.

Dinner at my sister's with the whole fam. Should be fun because her evil in-laws aren't coming this year, which means my dad will actually come back from deer hunting and join us. Then the women (mom, sis, and me) hit the "Black Friday" madness - no kids, no men. We've been doing it since sis and I were teens, and lately it's the only time of year when just the three of us can be together. Finishing up with a coffee shop and a discussion of which gifts still need to be bought, and who's going to buy them.

It's only the two of us, so it's very intimate. Probably wake up to fresh ground coffee and a fire in the hearth. The kitties will snuggle up with me to read in front of the fire.

I'm big on prepping, so most of the dinner will be ready to go the night before. I'd rather enjoy my day than be one of those frazzled crazies...

French onion soup as the first course. I'll start that around 11ish. The rest is pretty basic, though there's always a twist on the cranberry sauce...

Oh, and the annual T-day ping pong championship marathon. Basement rules...

My family & I will be going over to my moms for dinner I didn't think she'd still be here for Thanksgiving, so it's going to be a real special, and nice one! Well, it will be until her dogs start trying to bite my dogs.. then it's 'Game On'...LOL

Maintenance parts.

The Big bosses have decided that "We" need to work on machinery instead of being with our friends and family.

Don't misunderstand, the money is nice but it's still work! (Monday - Saturday this week).

Never can tell they might decide that us parts people don't need to be there.

This kind of thinking explains why the place is so screwed up.
