Just wanted to send a deeply felt thank you to all VEs. Because of one of you I had my first story posted here as part of the Valentine's Day contest.

The VE that accepted the challenge of editing my story went beyond just GSP and helped with some structural things and made some suggestions that helped make my story as "read-able" as it was! (I take full responsiblity for submitting it as it is.)

So, VEs, whether you check for typos and spelling, correct grammar or add your own suggestions... thank you for doing what you do!

I feel privileged to express my deepest desires and at the same time (in small measure) help those struggling to express themselves and witness them finding a literary voice. To observe the excitement of rave fedback and H votes for stories one has edited for others is as much of a thrill to me as it is to the writers themselves.

So kudos to the writers as well.

I guess as a group we're not very good at accepting a "thank you."
While I'm not your editor, I'm sure the ones working with you are grateful and happy that you're happy.
Seeing a happy author is thanks enough for me.

After all the "bad editor" threads and comments, it's nice to see a good one for a change.
