Like many of you who might read this, I've known about Lit a long time, and its content has become an influential part of my sexuality, but I never really get involved in the posting. Its an interesting conflict between appreciating the "public" aspect of what people share here and the personal desire to remain very private.
But this forum in particular gives voice to a lot of people's shadow desires, for lack of a better term. It's a fuse for latent passion, for things at the fringe of your own desires. I find a number of the taboo themes discussed here to be incredibly hot , but I'd be far more likely to discuss them with another person in private than to air them generally, publicly. I guess everyone has their own way, their own role.
But this is a thanks to all of you who do post on the site, and in this forum in particular. It's a great collective gift and I'm sure I'll be enjoying it for a very long time to come.
