I'm the whiner. I'm the complainer. Those are my tags given to me because I'm disatisifed with the system the way that it is. So be it. I'm the whining complainer and I'm proud to be so tagged.
Our country has a long history of whining complainers. You know what, just call me an angry American.
The voting here is skewed. You know it and I know it. We all know it. Only, I have the balls enough and so doesn't Scouries to say it publicly.
If you have friends here, if you are one of the "in" crowd, you receive lots of five votes and even win a contest or two. Me? I get 1 bombs and bashed unmercifully.
The bashing of stories is unacceptable. Why bother writing a story? Why should any of us write for free only to have our stories so bashed. You would never do that to my face. You would never act that way to someone on the street. Why gives you the right to have that ugly behavior here? What gives you the right to shit all over this site with your misery?
The contests aren't fair. Again, if you have lots of friends, you can take turns deciding who to vote for this month and who will win the contest this time.
Now, I can understand if there are readers out there who don't like some of the stories that we write, but when it is one of our own, when another writer here on this site, calls my stories shit, then that's not right.
Now, I have two very disturbed women, who will post here in a few minutes, running around here quoting me in their signatures. They've been hoping that I'd notice their signatures so that I'd flip out. They enjoy that when I do that. They are the real troublemakers and not me.
It doesn't bother me. Matter of fact, they can take this entire thread and put this as part of their signature, I don't care. Actually, I take it as a compliment that they advertise my quotes on their signature. Who knows, maybe they have my name tattooed on their asses, too. I don't know. They are disturbed and hope to get me riled so that they can continue their game of lunacy.
Anyway, like you, I'm just here to write stories. I thought it would be nice, too, if once in a while I could have some fun like the rest of you guys and post something on the forum boards, yet, every time I do, I'm gang attacked.
That's okay, too. I'm a big, burly guy. I can take being attacked. I have a good sense of humor and I realize that much of it is in fun, albeit at my expense. Nonetheless, there have been some really hurtful things said by some of the people here and you know who you are and everyone knows who you are. That shouldn't be tolerated. I wouldn't do that to you.
Oh, yeah, sure, you can pull many of my comments out of context, mean spirited things that I have written after someone has said worse to me over longer periods of time. Yet, I'd be the first one to defend another writer who was being abused on this site, as I have done on behalf of Scouries, which may be why I have been so targeted.
I thought all that was in fun. I never took Scouries thread as serious. Yet, apparently, some of you do and have. I'm known as Scouries friend. Yet, that's okay, too, because he has been more of a friend to me than many of you have.
Still, I'm human. As a writer, I have feelings. All of us who write here are sensitive, which is why we express ourselves through writing. Now, I'd like to be part of this community. I'd love to feel accepted and I'd abide by all the rules of courtesy that I give to anyone who I meet on the street. I hope you will give me the same courtesy that I give you.
Those of you who have gone out of your way to offend me in the past and you know who you are, please don't contact me. I'm done with you. I won't answer your PM's, e-mails, or make comment to your posts, no matter how nasty you get. I'm done. Fortunately, there are very few of you who I prefer having nothing to do with. There is seriously something mentally wrong with those people.
I won't put them on ignore, though, because I'd rather read what they write. The mean comments they write inspire my writing, you see. I derive my inspiration from them. The more they bash my stories and I know that they have, the more stories I'll write. So, knock yourself out.
For the rest of you, most of you are wonderful, talented, creative, and intelligent people and I would be honored to be accepted as part of your group. Truly, I'm a good guy who just loves to write and wants to learn how to write better. As you may have noticed, I learn how to write better by writing more stories, which is another reason why I have been targeted for bashing having written 550 stories in 19 months.
Anyway, I hope some of you will allow me to start fresh with a clean slate. I don't expect all of you to welcome me with open arms, but I am man enough to apologize to those who I have offended. I'm sorry.
Yet, for those select few who have been so mean to me these past months, I can't forgive you for that. I will never bother you and I hope you will give me the same courtesy.
Now, I hope that some of you will give me your words of welcome or support by writing your comments on this thread, but I understand if you don't feel comfortable doing that. You can contact me privately and I will answer everyone who contacts me.
I just wanted to make this public statement because I'm truly tired of having shit thrown at me every time I make a post here.
