Thanks but why anonymous?

I want to thank those that gave me such positive feedback for my Mr. Joe's Lipstick Fetish story. As others have noted, it is great to hear how something one did is appreciated. It brings up a question though. Why be anonymous when giving positive feedback? Maybe the author would like to thank you with an e mail. One way conversations are frustrating, at least to me anyway.

If they are not members of Lit their feedback, good or bad, is anonymous. It's a double edged sword we have to deal with,
