@djrip - what a wonderful, delicious example of the principle that Less is More. So hot
Once in the story, tap on series icon, then on series title x
You wouldn't be able to use it, no, since you don't own copyright.stickygirl said:
Lovely drawing. I added some story images via the Series settings but I've never been able to find where they can be seen. I'm sure it's so obvious
Ooo, I have a picture I'd love to add to my main series, but didn't think it was allowed.
I clicked on the Series icon in one of the Chapters, then clicked on the Series Title, and that gave me a Table of Contents for the series, but I don't see anywhere to add a picture.
But if I HAD added a picture, is that where it would show up?
And is that the only way a reader could get to it?
After writing my female MC some months ago I "found her" on the 'net and keep that photo of her handy as my muse. Would I need to worry about copyright or attribution if I used that? Thanks.
You can add art by going to the Series section of your author dashboard and selecting the gear icon for the relevant series. Once there you'll find a place to upload a picture. But as the person above said, you should own the copyright, or have permission to use it, and it can take a rather long time for the image to be approved.stickygirl said:

Thanks. I knew the answer, just didn't want to hear it.You wouldn't be able to use it, no, since you don't own copyright.
Ah, from the Dashboard, got it.You can add art by going to the Series section of your author dashboard and selecting the gear icon for the relevant series. Yes. Some art is available for free use, commercial or non commercial, it depends on the source. I used open source clip art type images and a mobile editing app recommended by Whoopsiedaisy called medibang..Would I need to worry about copyright or attribution if I used that? Thanks.
Thanks for the tip Mark though it's very easy to generate the following error message:You all probably know this already (because after searching I see a lot of talk of it on the Forums), but in this FAQ on Series Cover Art there's a link to this article on 10 Best AI Art Generators (which actually lists 14).
I believe all are online and you just do your work in the browser window, but I only checked the first two. I used the first one, Images.ai, and was able to come up with a decent picture for my series.
Just wanted to share that in case others were where I was with that.
Reading the FAQs sheds some light:Thanks for the tip Mark though it's very easy to generate the following error message:
"ehhh.. I don't think I want to see that"
I kid you not!
... even from such an innocent search description as "two dark haired women sunbathing" - for a story I'm currently working on.
Takes "Safe Search" to a whole new level sadly so may be of limited use to writers of the Erotique.
LOL, I'd forgotten about that, but you're absolutely right. My search was "african american teen long hair thin," and I didn't even understand it was an error message when I first got it. Changing 'teen' to 'woman' got me some results, but what finally ended up working for me was uploading a photo from the web, then I guess with that as the idea of what I wanted, tweaking it with descriptors."ehhh.. I don't think I want to see that"

Wonderful, evocative light touch - less is definitely more!
There's an 'adult' version called pornx dot ai that handles that kind of stuff fairly well, although the things it generates might not pass muster for what the site limits the cover art to. But you could insert them in illustrated stories I suppose.Takes "Safe Search" to a whole new level sadly so may be of limited use to writers of the Erotique.

There are 13 others to try besides that first one, maybe they're less prudish?
I quickly tried Clipdrop.co that @alohadave mentioned in another thread and it didn't balk at:
"black teen" "curly hair" thin
And gave me 4 pretty good pictures.
