Thank you for the music (closed)

Charles Streak

"Well thank you, but I'd stay for tonight, my landlord and lady is a bit of a pain, if I don't return home for two days they will throw out my stuff and get a new ******t. So thank you for the offer."

He finally placed the guitar aside and sat deeper into the chair,

"Don't worry about dinner, I have spent many nights eating nothing so anything is better than that."

She looked at him "Well they sound like ass holes, you could always live here with me if you wanted. Course I know you will say no, but the offer will always be there for you if you need it" She said kindly and sat down, looking at him kindly.

Charles Streak

He chuckled,

"It seems like you know me better than I thought you would. Thank you for the offer."

He looked around a bit longer,

"Just what do you do for a living?"

She smiled hearing his question, sitting back and relaxing she was able to speak with her mouth not full of food.

"I'm actually a published writer, I write young adult books. Course I still read young adults books, kinda like the age group of harry potter. And I'm not ashamed to admit Ive read them" She grinned.

Charles Streak

"Well then, I meet a celebrity."

He smiled and took a bite of his food,

"Well it doesn't matter what you read, I'm much a comic book fan myself, so it doesn't matter what you read, as long as you read and remember. That in itself is the main thing about reading for me."

She nodded some, and thought for a moment. "Aw yes comics I read them to, what you into?" She asked rather curious, taking a sip of her soda that she had for them. She really enjoyed the company she hoped he would take up her offer to live with her.

Charles Streak

"Oh the normal action and fantasy comics, some of the war comics aint so bad either, but very unrealistic."

He smiled and took a bite, chewing thoughtfully,

"Of course my favorites will be the Wolverine serieses, but the ones that has a very abstract look to them is the ones I don't like. I mean I want to see what they depict and the abstract nature just defies that very logic."

She listened to him and nodded some, she actually agreed. She never read the comics, but actually watched the cartoons that came out. It was really amazing and she smiled at him sweetly, wondering what he was thinking. "You know we are a like you and me, simple nice people living in a world of chaos"

"It is like the saying goes: It takes aal kinds to make the world go round."

He finished his meal and then the soda,

"Well then, I am fed and at the moment very lazy. What's next on your list?"

She chuckled some and nodded, finishing up her food and drink. And shrugged. 'I dunno nothing else on my list, not that I ever have lists" She grinned.

Charles Streak

"Well we have time so let's work on some songs, that is unless you are too tired?"

He had sheet paper in his case, it was something he always had with him just in case he tought of a song to write and see how it went, he had quite a lot of work done sitting in the park, but with his luck nobody actually liked it...well apart from the people passing through the park

She smiled looking at him, and stood up for a moment thinking. Placing her hands on her hips she shook her head. "No not to tired, sounds good" She grabbed her guitar and sat back down. She began to play the guitar as she began to sing, the song she wrote a long time ago her first one. The one she told him about.

"Can you tell me, softly
How you'll always haunt me
Can you help me
Hold me
Come to me now, slowly
You caress me, smoothly
Calm my fears and soothe me
Move your hands across me
Take my worries from me

I will sacrifice
I will sacrifice
All I have in life
To clear my conscience

I will sacrifice
I will sacrifice
All I have in life
Sacrifice, sacrifice
Can you feel me, solely
Deeper still and wholly
With your understanding
And your arms around me
Can you help me
Hold me
Whisper to me, softly
Move your hands across me
Take my worries from me

I will sacrifice
I will sacrifice
All I have in life
To clear my conscience
I will sacrifice
I will sacrifice
All I have in life
Sacrifice, sacrifice
I will sacrifice
Will sacrifice
Will sacrifice
Will sacrifice

I will sacrifice
I will sacrifice
All I have in life
To clear my conscience
I will sacrifice
I will sacrifice
All I have in life
Sacrifice, sacrifice !"

Charles Streak

He listened and nodded,

"Not too bad, but I do not like the ending very much, there is just too much Sacrifice in there. People might just take it up the wrong way and decide to sacrifice one another on altars."

He chuckled,

"You know how people love to blame music for their own idiocy."

She laughed some "Hey give me a break it was the first song I wrote, I wrote it when I was thirteen" She smirked some and and crossed one leg over the other, looking at him. She looked over at him. "So what are you thinking about hmm?" She grinned.

Charles Streak

"That we should edit it a bit, put it down on sheet paper and then see what it sounds like with a bit of beat along with it."

He winked at her,

"I have a busy mind."

He got up, quickly fetched the paper and pencil, returning he sat down on the ground, with the papers on the coffee table,

"Right, play it again for me please?"

Luna smiled at him, thinking for a moment. She began to play the cords again, she enjoyed the song, perhaps to much. But she was always open to new ideas, she was very open. Thinking about so much, she knew that this was going to be interesting. She had more ideas with other things, but one thing at a time.

Charles Streak

He wrote as he listened to her play, the words would come later, first they had to get the rhythm and the notes down and he did just that. It was quite an interesting piece that she had come up with. When he was done he stretched his back a bit and started on the words that she had sang, it was like he had a photogenic memory, just instead of remembering what he read he remembered words that he heard.

She looked down at his work and looked back up at him. "Someone has a damn good memory, impressive. Anyone I ever talk to, they forget my name within an hour if I hang around them" She chuckled happily, looking at him kindly. Sitting back happily, it was really the most perfect time to be together, Luna was enjoying the company. Tonight would be fun.

Charles Streak

He smiled at her,

"It is a genetic trait I'm told, I tend to remember a lot of things I hear."

When he was done he looked it over and then started on a new paper, adding a bit more rhythm. When he was done he slid it over to her,

"Try that?"

She smiled at him as she looked it over, and began to play it. Singing it the way that he had it written, she smiled it was really good. "Much better" She said happily. "Once I get the beats added, it will be a really good song" She said happily. Looking at him kindly.

Charles Streak

"Beats is unfortunately something I am a novice at playing, but we can try this."

He picked up the other guitar standing on a stand, tested the strings, tuned them a little bit and nodded to her to begin. As she played, he added the basic beat using the bass strings

She smiled playing her cords and singing she liked what he did with the bass, a big smile was seen and she enjoyed this very much. When they were finished she grinned. "Now that is a song, though much better with your work in it as well" She said happily.

Charles Streak

"Well I am glad that we can get along with this idea, but we will need a drummer, get that beat in and then see where it ends up."

He fiddled with the guitar and then started playing, it was a song he had no words for, but he noticed the younger people enjoyed the tempo on the acoustic, now with the electric guitar he could do so much more, really bring out the soul of the song, he stopped and grinned.

"This could go on all night, but I really need to get some rest now."

She smiled some and nodded, she kissed the side of his face and stood up. "Have a good night, in the morning I'll make us some breakfast" She said happily, it would be a good time to get to know each other. She saw what the time was, about midnight. Man they had really gone all out. "If you need anything let me know my bedroom is right across from the guest room" She said happily.

Charles Streak

He smiled at the kiss on his cheek,

"Thank you, I am sure that I will be fine, but it is comforting to know."

He bade her a good night and headed for the room she had appointed to him, after closing his case and storing it, he stripped and got into a bed so soft it felt like a cloud, exhaustion took him faster than he could play a tune.
