Hey SP! How about those SPURS!!! Keeping my fingers crossed for ya'll! I remember back in the days when the Rockets use to win! It's fun!
No rain here in the Houston area all weekend - makes it nice to drive around with the top down, but man the ground sure is dry - and I bet there will be a ban on fireworks come 4th of July if we don't get rain soon!

Sorry I missed the party. I hated that but family flew in from CA so I had to spoil the niece and nephew. School is a bitch that I am woking on taming (taking break now cause I cannot stand to read or type one more word about the mis-education of women) and work is just work. wish I could hit this site at work, make it a lot more fun.

enough bloody rain already!....could have stayed in jolly ole england(actually wales) if i had wanted this much rain...
in any event,hope san antonio comes through for us.since i live in dallas,i had to root for the mavs,and our feelings are still hurt.however,i really do want san antonio to beat them 'damn yankees'...(is that how you say it?)...if only to stop jason kidd blowing kisses at the basketball rim before he takes a free throw.....does anyone else out there find this excruciatingly hard to watch.funny thing is,i like jason,and wish the mavs had kept him.but....good grief man,stop blowing kisses...its so silly!!

Oh....I saw something on tv yesterday...one of those "caught on video" things. It was a girls basketball game and one of the players started doing a bunch of backflips, caught the other team off guard and her team was able to get a basket it. lol

BD - I'll have to tell my daughter that basketball trick! She can't do backflips, but maybe someone else on the team will do it! She did try to confuse one team this past season - we moved last summer and when we played her school from last year she would tell them (by name) to give her the ball - hoping it would confuse them and they'd think she was still on their team! It didn't work, but it was a nice try!
I'm cheering for the Spurs, but I don't watch them either. The only two games I've seen all season were the two that I went to here in Houston - hubby's boss gave us his tickets twice. Good seats, fun to watch in person! And daughter got the autograph of the Comets (WNBA Houston team) coach Van Chancellor on her school basketball shirt! Way cool - except she didn't know his name and had to say "hey coach, will you sign my shirt!".

That was pretty cool, getting the tickets from the boss. I like to watch BB in person (never seen NBA in person, though), but probably never will; I hate the seats in the new Spurs arena.
Well, I'm off for some time to myself. Stocked the kids up on easy foods (microwave, etc), so I'm gonna let them fend for themselves. Of course, I'm easily reachable via cellphone...unfortunately. lol

still sound welsh though...struggle with saying y'all,i dont spit very well,chewing tobacco makes me feel dizzy.
however,i do own a pair of cowboy boots,and can cuss with the best of them....

Ohh....ok, not a Texas newbie then. Well, you are better off not chewing tabaccy, and spitting just makes me ill, watching people do that. But the rest...hey...cool!
