The United States Treasury has announced they are recalling the new Texas quarters. "We are recalling all of the new Texas quarters that were recently issued," Treasury Undersecretary Russell Shackelford said in a press conference Monday.

I'm in Fort Worth - been a reader on this site for months, only recently gotten around to interacting. I'm a writer of short erotica and poetry as well as a photographer (none of these are my day - zzzZZZ - job, but they keep me happy), and would enjoy getting to know some of my neighbors - and isn't everyone in Texas a neighbor to everyone else?

Whether it's snappy convo or trading story ideas or sharing pics and ideas, I'm up for it!

I'd love to visit with you again as well. Can't make that weekend though. I've got my big annual Girl Scout meeting the 26th.

I'm going canoeing again - twice in May - first and third weekends - but daughter will be with me, so no extra visits then either. There's an adult only trip in July, and depending on if I carpool or not with my friend, I may be able to visit then.

I appreciate your comments about my pics as well. I have to admit, though - as soon as I read them, I went out to my yahoo briefcase to see what I had up! I couldn't remember if all of the pics in this briefcase were "G rated" or if I'd put up any of my adult-friendly ( *wink* ) pics. Usually, I just post the adult pics in groups I'm in, or send them directly - looks like this site has some good options for posting pics, though.

Of course, I couldn't resist checking out Kate's stories and pics, and I have to say, "mmmmmmmmmm". Of course, you both have ... ummm ... inspiring pics under your names in here.

Anyway - thanks for the greetings - i look forward to getting to know all the kind folk in here better.

Nice to see there are other camping afficionados in here as well.

I think I'm the most camp-y person of the TX bunch. I was gone this past weekend, I'll be gone this weekend, and have two camp/canoe trips in May. I do all of mine through Girl Scouts though.

Probably not this week Blue. This is the week from hell for me. A paper due Friday . . . Test Thursday . . .and 55 scheduled hours at the two jobs. No sleep for me. Luckily I can check into Lit as I work on my paper.

I'll confess - the pic I attached to the last post wasn't the one I *thought* i was attaching - lol. It was a little more revealing than the one i was planning to attach. (so much for being a skilled tease ....). I have a friend who calls the one I posted the "grapefruit picture" - looks to her like a grapefruit half oozing & dripping juice.

Even though it's kind of ... ummm ... anticlimactic now, I'll post the one i ACTUALLY intended below.
