Mine was great, thank you. And profitable. Sold some high-end pieces of furniture from the antique mall this afternoon. Thought it was going to take longer to sell but it went today. My pockets are jingling again!

I've been meaning to ask you, WTex...do you get any goose neck rockers?

I know they aren't all antique, but I gave one to my brother who promptly misplaced it :rolleyes:

I'd like to get a replacement at some point. Your talk in here about antiques made me think you could get your hands on a couple.
 
The downside is this.....Now I have to haul furniture tomorrow in the cold! Glad my helper can work with me tomorrow. He gets to carry the heavy end of everything!
 
RA, I haven't had one in quite a while but I will keep my eyes open. I never know what I am going to get in......will keep you posted.

Unfortunately I have to leave the state for a week. Biggest problem is that I have to spend the week in North Dakota. Saving grace is that it is a paid trip. I'll try to check in and get my "Texas Fix" from y'all every now and then! Make me proud!

My sister 'misplaced' my Mom's hope chest. I was going to take it but was just waiting until I moved into my new place, it was gone from the parent's garage when I went to pick it up. Since Sister and I are the only ones with access...

She figured that since I hadn't picked it up yet I didn't want it. She told me her daughter took it up to the Vegas house. I found out later she sold it to friends. He told me he would give it back to me when he found out is was suppose to be mine but the ex wife got it when they split.. Grrrr
