Oh my gawd - 189 pages on your thread (no wonder considering your beauty madam). That many pages is pretty daunting in comparison to my thread, which with any luck, will break into it's 3rd page tonight!

Hey Jenn - saw you said the little one had to go to the doc - everything ok?

Ohhhh, I'm sure he can accomodate that. He might be on later. We have to go grocery shopping now that the little rugrats are finally in bed. But, hopefully we will be back in time to play a little.

Love your expression in this one... LoL!

To me it looks like your thinking... possible
"Maybe if I lean my head this way it will look bigger...
OR
Yeah right... that's 12 inches bud...
more like 12 centimeters maybe."
While you try and keep a straight face.

Less traffic yeah, but they drive like snails!! :p Being from Austin (where they AIM for you) driving in SA is like going to Malibu Gran Prix - a speed limit of 35 LOL

Both of you are very sweet to offer. And hey, Chris might want in on the action eventually. :p (That would leave the cameraman seat open.)

On a much more serious note:

I'm actually not sure if it's serious or not. He's been vomiting for the last 2 or 3 weeks atleast once a day, sometimes twice. But, it's often right as he begins eating so Chris and I thought it was his way of getting out of eating things he doesn't like. You know how kids are... but, it hasn't stopped and he gets REALLY violently ill everytime. Only to recover completely, right afterwards. It's just weird.

The Dr. did lots of little "in house" tests, as I like to call them. Simple neurological tests that included balancing and following the light and he also looked into his eyes for a really long time with the lights off. He told me (after I asked why in the heck he was doing that) that the vomiting could be a symptom of a brain tumor. You can imagine the look I must have had on my face, but he quickly assured me that he had a completely normal neurological exam for a 4 year old. (Thank goodness!)

So, he has to have an upper GI tomorrow morning. :::boohoo::: I called Chris and told him he had to take off and go with me.

Jenn and Chris -

I have to say that I have spent a fair amount of time with really really sick kids (I mean like....REALLY sick). The fact that the little guy is horfing one minute and fine the next sounds more indicative of something like the reflux mentioned earlier as opposed to something more ominous, so keep the faith. My bet is the GI will find the problem and show the way to resolving it.

I've seen kids bounce back from things that would turn most adults into jello - I am sure the little guy is going to be fine. Kids are walking miracles. Besides, he obviously has parents who love and care for him. That gives him a huge advantage - not just in dealing with this - but in life overall.

Best Wishes -

Hey guys, he's right! The little guy is well loved and cared for, just do what the doctor tells ya, okay?

Hi to all,

I am up to date again. It's always nice to go online and see that there are 6 new pages on Jenxxx's thread. Since I am on the other side of the Atlantic i cannot actively join in the thread, but even though I am enjoying it very much. Jenxx, you're as beautifull as ever. Hope everything is OK with the little one. Take good care and looking forward to good news... :rose:

Aye also posting my well wishes. I am sure will all be fine but know it is disconcerting anyhow being a mother myself. We have had to have surgical procedures done on our little one and even though they were routine, it is still nerve wracking. Hope all is going well!

Good afternoon everyone!

Thank you so much for all of the well wishes in regards to Clayton (the littlest one). He was such a little trooper at the hospital this morning. The technicians showed him how that huge radiology machine worked, going up and down and side to side and he was instantly made to feel like a little hero. *sigh* He only had to drink a tiny sip of the chalky stuff and behaved perfectly during the actual picture taking. The radiologist gave us a tentative "all clear" sign, but the Dr. himself will call us this afternoon with the official results. Hopefully, this is just the end of it. He didn't vomit yesterday or yet today.. *crossing fingers*

Again, Chris and I both appreciate your concern more than you could know.

THANK YOU.

Now back to the regularly scheduled program. ;)
