What annoys me most about this incident is that 3" of rain was forecast at first,anyone with intelligence knows that this amount of rain falling on hard ground is almost 100 % certain to cause flooding,no one could be assed to issue a potential flood warning,and when the amount of rainfall was expected to be much higher they seemed to have shrugged their shoulders.
Is this level of incompetence due to the Republican's appointing idiots to positions of power (a la Trump)?

The number of people reported missing in the wake of historic July 4 flooding in Kerr County, Texas, has dropped from a peak of more than 160 to three, with many now verified as being safe, officials said Saturday.

I really, really hope this is as good as it looks.
